Dramatic sterling silver seafood serving bowl. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Two joined scallop-shells bowls on scallop-shell supports. A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. A graphic contrast between the scales and suckers of the octopus and the controlled and stylized ornament on the shells. Very original. Beautiful craftsmanship...

Beautiful Gorham arts & crafts period (c. 1905) sterling and enamel spoon, measuring 5" long. It has blue, purple, red, and yellow enamel in a lovely arts & crafts design with a gold washed finish. The condition is very good with a slight enamel outage at the very top of the spoon (see photo). The spoon is marked "GORHAM hallmarks STERLING #870 and an "S" monogram at the back. A great way in these tumultuous times to get back in touch with your inner country club Republican. Fully marked including maker’s stamp and presidential date code (DDE) for the years 1953-61. Georgian-style sterling silver coffeepot. Retailed by Cartier in New York. Lobed baluster body, hinged and domed cover with vasiform finial, high looping stained-wood handle, s-scroll spout, and raised and round foot. Fully marked including no. 80, pattern name Dublin, retailer’s stamp, and maker’s stamp for Worden-Munnis who were active in Boston from the 1940s to 1960s. Excellent condition.

Very nice set of eight sterling silver cocktail picks with rooster finials brightly decorated in translucent basse-taille enamels. The engraved decoration underneath the enamel lends realistic feathery details to the roosters. The exposed areas of silver are gilt. The backs are marked "925S Norway Sterling."

This spoon is 4 3/4" long. It depicts the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California. This spoon was made in Holland. It is in excellent condition.
A nice sterling silver double jigger, the bell-shaped cups joined by a spherical holder, by Graff, Washbourne and Dunn. This New York maker was known for the high quality of its smaller wares such as this. The company closed in 1961, but the generous weight of this jigger suggests an earlier date.
