This spoon is 5 1/4" long.

The top of the spoon has a building and a shield with birds in the shield, Fort Pitt 1764, and an oil derrick.

The bowl of the spoon is the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania Post Office building.

ON the back of the spoon there is the court house, another view of the post office, and Pittsburg.

A nice sterling silver double jigger with a turned ebony handle. The jigger has a smaller and a larger cup, each in bell form. The jigger is marked by Edward San Giovanni, who worked in Ridgefield, CT during the 1940s and 50s.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, no dings or monograms. Dimensions: 2-13/16 in high; 5-1/8 in long. Weight: 38.8 gr.

A vintage mid century modernist cup or goblet by William Spratling in Ebony with sterling balls around a sterling base and sterling inlaid disks.

Measures 4 5/8" high and 2 1/4" across. Marked with William Spratling Taxco Mexico around the conjoined Script 'WS'. This mark was used between 1951-67.

In fine condition, has some tarnish .

A vintage mid century modernist set of 2 salt dishes and 2 spoons by William Spratling in sterling silver and rosewood. These were in the Montgomery Ward 1943 Christmas Book and each sold for $4.75 including the spoon. From Spratling's 1st design period.

The salts measures 1 3/8" square and 1" high. Marked with Spratling Made in Mexico around the conjoined 'WS', and Sterling. These were the marks used between 1931-46...

Girdled bowl with leaf-capped s-scroll side handles, stepped foot and stepped and domed cover with vasiform finial. Traditional form with extra oomph. A handsome mid-century sterling silver gavel-style double jigger with a turned ebony handle. Gavel jiggers are usually in a more traditional style, but the plain lines of the silver and relatively simple handle give this example a nice mid-century modernist feel. The jigger is marked by Boardman, a silversmith who sold under their own mark and also manufactured barware for Cartier's New York store.

Rare sterling silver baby rattle featuring an etched inscription, depicting birth date, a clock motif signifying birth time, and birth weight. Hard-to-find with a clock, this is terrific piece for the collector. Dates 1940 or earlier. In good condition with some light wear to the sterling finish, it measures 3.5" long and 1.25" diameter.
