A fine, colorful boxed set of six sterling silver coffee or demitasse spoons with gilt and guilloche enamel decoration by the Birmingham silversmith, Turner & Simpson. The delicate shades of the guilloche enamel are accented with white champlevé enamel. Turner & Simpson sold sets such as this through luxury jewelers such as Garrard and Asprey in London. Each spoon is fully hallmarked by the maker. The set is presented in its original fitted box.

Being offered is an exceedingly rare circa 1965 handmade sterling silver pill box by Janna Thomas of Taxco, Mexico. Handcrafted pill box in a layered rope design with a moving silver tassel finial. Thomas designed for Tiffany & Company before moving to Mexico and opening up her own shop. Dimensions: 1 1/2 inches diameter by 1 inch high. Weight 3 1/2 ounces. Marked as illustrated in photo. A very scarce Watson and Newell demitasse spoon of an African American child eating watermelon. The spoon has “Shreveport, LA” engraved in the bowl. A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. This 3/4" wide sterling napkin ring measures 2" x 1-1/2" across the interior and it has lined decoration. It has a rubbed STERLING mark with the Roden maker's mark. Birks bought all Roden's inventory and parts and molds, and the Roden mark can be seen on some Birks silver items until several decades after...

This 5 3/4" souvenir spoon of Denver, Colorado depicts the State Capitol , one mile high, in the bowl. On the front handle there is the Brown Palace Hotel, U.S.Mint and the smelter. On the back handle there is General J. W. Denver, Indian camp, First log cabin in 1859 and panning for gold in Cherry Creek.

On cover top is engraved the coat of arms of the Honourable Artillery Company, which is the oldest regiment in the British army. Cedar-lined and partitioned interior; underside leather lined.
