Striking silver pitcher & stirrer designed & signed by San Miguel Allende, Mexico artist Carmen Beckmann circa 1960. The pitcher is 9" tall & 7 1/2" at it's widest. The stirrer is 12" long. The two pieces weigh a hefty 970 grams. The pitcher is studded with 8 faceted, bezel set amethyst stones. It's also decorated with 3 applied sterling star fish. The stirrer in finished with two faceted amethysts on either side of the terminus. Fully signed on the base. Beautiful condition.

An Edwardian period sterling silver ladies mesh purse or handbag circa 1900 1910. It is in excellent antique condition - no damage or missing parts and it has the original antique chain handle. It snaps shut firmly and evenly. It has not been initialled or engraved. It measures 5 " in width when it is hanging down, & 9" wide when extended. It measures 5 3/4" from top to bottom, not including the chain handle, which measures 14" in straight length...

A classic figural sterling silver thimble jigger by Thomae & Co. The rim is engraved "Only A Thimble Full." The interior retains its original gilding. Several companies made variations of this jigger, but those by Thomae are among the best due to their superior weight and workmanship. This particular example is several grams heavier than most Thomae thimbles.

Very nice pair of sterling silver napkin rings in their original silk- and velvet-lined fitted box. The inside lid of the box is embossed with the mark "Viner's of Sheffield By Appointment To The Late King George V". Each napkin ring is fully hallmarked for Sheffield, England, 1966.

A Roden (Birks) sterling 1930s napkin ring with an N monogram by Roden Bros, Toronto. Roden was bought out by Birks in 1928. These salad servers comprise a fork and spoon with rosewood handles and hand-wrought sterling silver tines and bowl. Each is decorated with three simple applied beads at the collar that wraps around the handles. The backs bear the mark of Taxco silversmith Bernice Goodspeed as well as sterling marks. Both are securely attached to the handles, although the spoon is a bit loose. The wood is in very nice shape, and the silver shows much oxidation but little wear...

A handsome mid-century sterling silver gavel-style double jigger with a turned ebony handle. Gavel jiggers are usually in a more traditional style, but the plain lines of the silver and relatively simple handle give this example a nice mid-century modernist feel. The jigger is marked by Boardman, a silversmith who sold under their own mark and also manufactured barware for Cartier's New York store.

A delightful set of six sterling silver Art Deco cocktail picks with finials in the form of the Devil. The little naked figure grasps a flaming torch in one upraised hand and his tail is replaced by the business end of the cocktail pick. A vintage sterling silver figural jigger by Gorham, the sides marked off with enameled stoplights in green, yellow and red meant to signify "go," "caution," and "stop." Each light corresponds to the 1, 2-1/2, and 3-1/2 ounce markings on the jigger's bottom. The bottom is hallmarked by Gorham.

A Substantial Gorham Sterling Silver Rectangular Platter for Black, Starr and Frost. It is 14" square and 1" deep in dimensions and weighs 28.2 Troy ounces. Dates from the 1920's. Mint condition. It has a monogram on the edge (see picture).

These lovely sterling silver spoons are in a Colonial Revival pattern, simply decorated with a shell at the tip of the handle. The backs are stamped with the high-end retailer's name "Bigelow, Kennard & Co." of Boston, indicating a date before 1922. The backs of the handles also have a monogram "T" in a style that would point to ca. 1890-1900, and the mark 925/1000 which would also support that date range.
