Large sterling silver berry spoon in Kirk's wonderful "Repousse" pattern. Certainly the most famous of all silver patterns to emerge from Baltimore, "Repousse" is filled with flowers such as roses, daisies and forget-me-nots. The bowl of the spoon is decorated with mixed fruit including strawberries, apples, grapes and raspberries. The back is marked "S. Kirk & Son Sterling", the mark used between 1927 and 1961.

A very scarce Watson and Newell demitasse spoon of an African American child eating watermelon. The spoon has “Shreveport, LA” engraved in the bowl. The back is marked “Sterling” and has the Watson & Newell logo. The spoon is shown as item 562-4 on the Watson and Newell 1900-1910 catalog page illustrating “Souvenirs for the South.”

These salad servers comprise a fork and spoon with rosewood handles and hand-wrought sterling silver tines and bowl. Each is decorated with three simple applied beads at the collar that wraps around the handles. The backs bear the mark of Taxco silversmith Bernice Goodspeed as well as sterling marks. A terrific pair of Art Deco sterling silver tension-hinged sugar tongs or “nips” by W. & S. Sorensen. The twisted upper handles are decorated with gilt crown-shaped finials and the tong ends repeat the twisted pattern of the upper handles. The tongs could be used for sugar cubes, candies, or even olives. Hallmarked by Sorensen. The tongs are very well made and are quite heavy.
