An Unusual, heavy sterling silver cigar box hallmarked Birmingham, England 1906 but presented in Las Vegas in 1959 and covered with signatures, some are well known Dallas, Texas dignitaries. These include Angus Wynne, Jr. of Six Flags, Bob Cullum from Tom Thumb Supermarkets, and Felix McKnight of the Dallas Times Herald. Designed by Spratling c. 1950's, this martini pitcher & stirrer were hand wrought in Taxco, Mexico. The pitcher stands 5 1/2" tall & weighs 400 grams. The stirrer/spoon is 10" long. Both are in excellent condition. Both the spoon and pitcher are signed on the reverse. The pitcher is pictured on p. 258 of MEXICAN SILVER by Penny Morrill & Carole Berk. Nostalgic glass vanity jar with enameled sterling silver cover. Made in London in 1934. Oval jar with straight and fluted sides. Cover has motoring scene: A Victorian lady and two gentlemen tootle along in a turn-of-the-century automobile. A sweet look back. Hallmark includes George V’s silver jubilee mark. Indistinct maker’s mark – possibly Thomas Dalton Pannett & Son, Ltd. Fine condition with strong color.

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). The rosewood and sterling handles have a glorious design and the knives blades are iron(and have some rust). The handles are in excellent condition. The fork is marked "HA(stylized) 940 TAXCO 9(bellmark)...
