A great addition to your holiday table. This is a silver plated Rogers wood handled 3-3/8" high brandy or sauce server with the matching fitted 6-1/2" underplate. Nice pair of vintage sterling silver candlelabra in a classic style. The double twisted-armed sockets unscrew so that they can be used as two single candlesticks, as well. The bases are marked "Empire Sterling Weighted".

Origin: America, circa 1950. Condition: excellent, all original, two sockets have a 1/16" ding on the lower sides, no monograms. Size: candlelabra, 9-3/8" tall, 8-1/2" wide; candlesticks, 6-1/2" tall.

A fine and vintage Scandinavian sterling silver pair of fish servers mady by the Finnish firm of Miettinen + Nurmi (1947-60). This pair has the date stamp for 1959 and 813H and the maker's mark. The 6-3/8" long fork comes with the matching 7-1/4" long fish knife. Unusually, both the blade and handle are also .813 silver, and this set has never been monogrammed...

A fine silver tastevin inset with a 1772 silver 8 reales coin from the reign of Carlos III. The deeply-curved sides of the tastevin are decorated in a characteristically Spanish baroque style with ornate chasing and engraving. The handle is in the form of a curled dragon-like creature.

Though they were fashionable in France in the 19th century, coin tastevins only became stylish in Spain around 1950...

Shown is one of THREE(3) rare STERLING napkin rings by the famous German design company, WMF. Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik(WMF) was founded in 1853 and produced beautiful Jugendstil silver plate items. It is rare to find any WMF sterling silver. The napkin rings are signed: "WMF STERLING 925 GERMANY (sterling German hallmark) " and are in excellent condition. Of good size, they measure 1 3/4" high. Very beautiful design and probably made in the 1960's...
