An elegant set of six gilt sterling silver mint julep spoons, the bowls decorated in the form of a pair of overlapping mint leaves. The stems are hollow, so they can be used as sippers, too. The spoons can also be used for iced tea. The gilding is a beautiful, rich shade of gold. The spoons are marked “Tiffany & Co. Sterling”.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, all original, gilding intact. Dimensions: 8-1/2” long. Weight: 74.3 grams.

Large and beautiful 10 1/4" rosewood and sterling serving fork by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1950's. The 2-prong fork measures 2 1/2" long by 1 5/8" wide. Edwardian sterling silver gravy boat. Made by S. Kirk & Son in Baltimore, ca 1940. Ovoid with helmet mouth and raised oval foot; dense floral repousse on stippled ground. Cast leaf-capped and -mounted high-looping handle with low-relief flowers. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1932-61), no. 278F, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Very good condition.

This hand hammered sterling silver bowl was designed & signed c. 1940's by Taxco Mexico artist William Spratling. The interior of the bowl measures 6 1/2" across & 2 1/2 inches deep. Bowl weight is 652 grams or 23 oz. Each of the 3 handles are accented with 2 raised silver domes. Beautiful condition. Excellent accent piece for any room. This design is included in the superb & permanent 20th century Mexican silver collection at LACMA.

Being offered is an exceptional, early and rare, early circa 1943 sterling silver bowl by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Handwrought bowl featuring three applied half domes surrounded by an incised and oxidized pattern near the rim. Dimensions: a large 10 inches diameter by 4 inches tall. Marked as illustrated in photo. Weight just shy of 17 ozs. In excellent condition.

Beautiful figural pattern showing north wind and dolphin head amidst classic art nouveau flowing design with very clear definition on each. There is a fairly light monogram "L"(?) on each spoon that could probably be removed...
