Handcrafted modernist martini pitcher in a sleek bulbous form; all resting on a flat circular base. Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/2 diameter. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition. Weight 15 ozs.

A large sterling silver bowl from Atelier Borgila, Erik Fleming in Stockholm, Sweden. This was a 1941 Presentation Gift from General Motors Imports, inscription on bottom as shown. Measures about 5 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" across and weighs about 737 grams. Has decorative engraving on one side and a gold wash in the interior. Very good condition, does show a little wear and light scratches. In its original presentation box. Fine example of Scandinavian design from this workshop.

Sterling silver creamer and sugar made by Sanborns Silver in the 1950s. Both pieces made in Mexico and marked "Sanborns Mexico Sterling" and "SA 925 m.m. Hecho en "Mexico D.F." Both measure 3.625" in diameter across the top. Both are 2.5" tall including the foot. Both pieces are in excellent condition. The overall weight of both is approximately one pound.

Description: Very well crafted hand made southeast Indian vessel, the whole body is decorated with pierced foliage design with beautiful rosebuds in high relief. It bears silver and 925 mark on the base. Has a height of 4 inches and the diameter is 6 inches. Excellent condition.

A delightful second standard (800/1000 pure silver) French tastevin featuring a mermaid. The overall design is in traditional Burgundian style, with “cupules,” and “perles” for viewing the color and clarity of either red or white wines, but this example is set apart because of the seaweed-surrounded mermaid set into the bottom. Magnificent 5 inch tall sterling silver salt & pepper shakers or casters designed and signed by American and Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). The pair weigh 242 grams or 8 1/2oz. Each is accented with applied silver bands along with a ball and bead atop the dome shape. Each hallmarked on the underside. This design is one of Spratling's last coming from the mid 1960's. Description: Very rare and well crafted Persian hand made silver cup, depicting Reza Shah Pahlavi, the founder of Pahlavi dynasty on the front and on the side are Sassanian king Anoosheh Ravan and ancient symbol of archaemennid dynasty. The central figures are surrounded on the upper and lower section with the script commemorating the crowning of Reza Shah. The cup is dated 1311 AH which is 1931. A vintage mid century modernist pair of salad servers in sterling silver and exotic wood by William Spratling. One is an open slotted spoon/fork and the other is a large serving spoon. They each measure 12 1/4" long and 2 1/4" across the bowls. Marked with the conjoined 'WS', Taxco and 925. These were the marks used between 1933-40, the first design period.
