A great addition to your holiday table. This is a silver plated Rogers wood handled 3-3/8" high brandy or sauce server with the matching fitted 6-1/2" underplate. Originally for pouring warm brandy it would be perfect for any sauce. Shown is one of THREE(3) rare STERLING napkin rings by the famous German design company, WMF. Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik(WMF) was founded in 1853 and produced beautiful Jugendstil silver plate items. It is rare to find any WMF sterling silver. The napkin rings are signed: "WMF STERLING 925 GERMANY (sterling German hallmark) " and are in excellent condition. Of good size, they measure 1 3/4" high. Very beautiful design and probably made in the 1960's...

Circa 1950-60, very heavy sterling silver hinged or jointed fish bottle opener with abalone (mother of pearl) and black onyx eyes. Made in Mexico, it is fully hallmarked including 925 on the back side of the tail. Excellent condition, it measures 7.25" long and weights 5.48 oz.

A fine silver tastevin inset with a 1772 silver 8 reales coin from the reign of Carlos III. The deeply-curved sides of the tastevin are decorated in a characteristically Spanish baroque style with ornate chasing and engraving. The handle is in the form of a curled dragon-like creature.

Though they were fashionable in France in the 19th century, coin tastevins only became stylish in Spain around 1950...

A set of 6 Dutch silver engraved coffee spoons. This decorative set of six 4-1/4" twist handle spoons has a full set of hallmarks with the lion passant II mark (post 1953, .835 silver content) and a VD M maker's mark. Nice pair of vintage sterling silver candlelabra in a classic style. The double twisted-armed sockets unscrew so that they can be used as two single candlesticks, as well. The bases are marked "Empire Sterling Weighted".

A very handsomely decorated set of 12 sterling silver demitasse spoons. The handles are finely decorated with a cast and pierced stylized bellflower. The swirling character of the finial design nicely contrasts with the more angular line of the lower handles and the oval bowls. The backs are fully marked with Swedish hallmarks for 830 silver, including the town mark for Norberg.

Origin: Sweden, ca. 1940. Condition: excellent, all original, no monograms. Size: 4-1/16" long...

This Mangus Aase "Rose" cream or bouillon ladle is 6.5" long The bowl is 2 7/8" long by 1 1/2" wide. It is hallmarked K.W.830s Mangus Aase symbol NM. The NM is the generic mark which roughly translates as design copyright. The mark was used from 1876-1953.

Notice the hook on the reverse and that this ladle has a gold wash bowl. It is also hallmarked 18-7-1931.

American Neoclassical sterling silver bowl. Retailed by Georg Jensen USA in New York. Curved sides and raised round foot mounted to square base. Beading. Fully marked including retailer’s stamp, no. 777, and phrase “Reproduction”. Very good condition.
