A finely crafted leather box for which Italians are world famous, in supple burgundy leather accented with gold cufflink decorations. The underside is stamped Made in Italy for Senfeld Imports. The lid is hinged in leather.

Red lacquer and gold sakazuki / sake cup, a ceremonial wine cup. Between the arms of the cross are Japanese signs of good luck. Signed on the back, within the foot rim. Diameter "3 ΒΌ / 8 cm. Condition: some damp stains (cf. pics).
A vintage English leather traveling case intended to hold a set of shirt studs. The top is embossed "Studs" in gilt letters. The interior has a sueded surface. Though intended for use when traveling, these boxes are an excellent way to store either cufflinks or studs on a daily basis. The bottom is marked "Real Hide Made In England."

Nice wooden recipe box in the form of a book. The cover has burnt and painted decoration showing a cocktail shaker and a beverage. The "title" of the book is "The Art of Mixing Cocktails". The cover opens to reveal a storage area for paper recipe cards specifically designed for cocktail recipes. Ca. 1920. Very good condition; the leather binding on the hinge has dried out and has surface flaking. 6-3/4" x 5-1/4".
Russian hand painted hinged top Lacquer Box, signed and dated by "Artist name, "1973" on the lower right side, 2" high, 6 1/4" x 4 3/8" wide. Small chips about 1/8" to 1/4" wide on the lacquer surface, some wear and tear, small scratches on the bottom outside.
Here is a whimsical piece of folk art, possibly depicting an Australian Cassowary. A plastic coconut shell serves as the body, the feathered tail and headdress are accented by a furry brown material while the spindly neck and legs made from sticks. Unsigned.

Antique rectangular-shaped snuff box made of high-quality German pressed birch bark from 19th century Germany. A vintage cheese board from the workshops of Robert Thompson, Kilburn, York, U.K. Hand carved oak with the signature mouse. Measures about 14 7/8" by 7 1/4". Fine example with just a little wear from use.
Rare set of 11 Dansk wood chargers, each of laminated exotic and figural wood, stamped with Dansk information on backs, each plate of at least 6 layers of wood.
They measure 12 1/8" directly across, and 13 1/4" at a diagonal angle.
Squarish shapes, rounded corners, center is round, large enough for a regular dinner plate to set inside.
They all have wonderful designs in the wood, some like birds eye maple, some like tiger maple, but they appear to be an exotic wood...
A difficult wood with which to work, ebony is also an exceedingly attractive one as this hand carved crocodile attests with its exotic and realistic hide. Bone teeth and eyes complete the sculpture. These figures date from the early to mid 20th C, possibly of Indian origin, and are frequently found with lost eyes and teeth, making this one a choice specimen.
An elegant and very modern rare Art Deco ivory cigarette case. In excellent condition, it measures 5.5" x 3.25" x .75". Inscribed inside with date 1952.
19th/20th Century cylindrical bone scroll holder inscribed and stained with insects, moths, and frog, surmounted by a carved rootwood figure of a crawling toad. It is 7 1/4" tall and has a character mark to base.
