A Revernay French art studio pottery vase probably from the 1920s. This art object by Tapio Wirkkala for IIttala, number 3572, was in production from 1954 to 1957. This piece was produced in 1957. It measures 3 3/8" (10cm) tall and is 3" (8cm) in diameter. On the underside is etched TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA 3572-57. Mint condition.

Fostoria made these lustres from 1930-40. A simple 4.5" base rising to an 8.5" stick with attached bobeche cascading with hanging crystals. This pair are in excellent condition, the tips of the crystals are best described as weathered, not sharp but obviously dulled by time. The sticks are yellow with permanently attached bobeche. Pattern #2436 is are considered RARE.

This tumbler vase is part of the Martele Line produced by Consolidated Glass Company during the 1920's. The pattern is called 'Katydid', though it's usually referred to as the 'grasshopper' vase. 8 inches tall, the color of the glass is blue crystal. (The color is in the glass, not a wash applied over clear glass.) Excellent condition and very hard to find in this color.

This vintage stoneware pottery 6 gallon ice water dispenser (water cooler) was made by Roseville Pottery Company circa 1900 or before.

The cooler measures 17 1/2" including the lid. The outside diameter is 12". This crock, stoneware ice water cooler weighs in at a hefty 41 pounds.

The blue paint is still very vibrant. The gasket around the spigot should be replaced because it has some dry rot. Overall condition is excellent except for one 2 1/4" exterior craze line near the top.

This is an absolutely stunning sterling silver cigarette case which has been elaborately decorated with engraved raised floral motif on the front and back panel, with presentation mark engraved on the front panel. It has a gilt interior with two cigarette retainer, it is hallmarked with a dagger going through letter B, which I don't know what dose it stand for...

In 1965 "THE WORLD OF SPRATLING" museum exhibit touring the U.S. included this design in their collection. Rosewood and sterling silver are used in this ovoid piece which stands 1 3/4" high & 4 3/4" long. The tray is in beautiful condition. It is pictured on Phyllis Goddards spratlingsilver.com and in MEXICAN Silver by Penny Morrill and Carole Berk. Spratling 1950's hallmarks are on the underside.

Stippled Band was the first toy dish pattern produced by Akro Agate. The transparent topaz color pictured here was only made in 1935-6 and is very difficult to find. This 16 piece set is the Small size Stippled Band and includes the teapot and lid, 4 plates, 4 cups & saucers, sugar & creamer. A 7 ½ inch tall Moser goblet, cranberry to clear with faceted stem and hexagonal foot. The hexagonal foot is gold enameled with srollwork which is matched in facets on the cup. A Set of Gorham Sterling Silver Openwork Candlesticks with Etched Glass Hurricane Shades. Dimensions 5" for the candlesticks and 10.5" including the shades. They are in excellent condition and are from the 1930's.

It is notable that both front and back surfaces of this fine aquarium are ground flat and polished, providing a crisp view of the finely crafted fish. The polishing is a considerable amount of work not usually seen in most Murano glass aquariums. Hewn from one piece of wood, our porcine friend leisurely resided for many years on the enclosed back porch of historic Coolmore Plantation, Taroboro, NC (see last photo of home).
