Kratina 1872-1953, a beautiful and historic George Washington Bicentennial Gilded Bronze Plaque measuring 22x17” dates 1732-1932 Mr Kratina, was born in Prague and studied at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and the Académie Julian in Paris, after becoming a sculptor and also a teacher.

An unsigned 10 ½ inch tall colorless decanter decorated with 6 reserves with gold enameled intaglio flowers. The balance of the decanter is beautifully enameled with with multicolored sprays of leaves and crosshatching in the manner of Lobmeyr. The original stopper has the same decoration as the bottle including small intaglio rondels. There is a small polished pontil mark on the foot. There is some wear to the gold enamel on the intaglio portions...

A Royal Crown Derby 2451 Old Imari pattern English bone china tea cup and saucer circa 1923. The teacup is 3-3/8" tall and the matching saucer is 5-5/8" across. A very nice Arts & Crafts bronze round tray with verdigris patina by Carl Sorensen. The surface is decorated in uneven concentric rings of darker and lighter green mottled patination, separated by thin bands of polished bronze. The outer edge is finished with a pair of cast handles in a pattern similar to Georg Jensen's "Blossom" design. Little is known about Sorensen other than that he worked in the Philadelphia area around 1900 and his pieces may have been retailed at Tiffany & Co...

Beautiful Daum Nancy 4 5/8 inch tall cameo cabinet vase decorated with red lily flowers and green leaves on a pale amber ground which in turn incorporates an amethyst spatter pattern near the base. The vase is 1 7/8 inches in diameter at the rim and 2 ½ inches at the shoulder. The vase is signed with the Daum logo and “France”in cameo. A differently shaped vase having the same decoration and coloration is shown as item E in figure 127 on page 86 of Blount’s “French Cameo Glass.”

A silver mounted Skean Dhu (Sgian-Dubh) with carved horn handle and snakeskin leather sheath made by leading Edinburgh Silversmith Robert Allison and assayed in Glasgow in 1952. Condition: excellent. 20cm (7.8 inches) long.

Fazzoletto (handkerchief) vase in an unusual bicolor combination of black (dark reddish purple) glass cased in a medium blue opaque glass, giving the over all effect of a black interior with grey-blue exterior.
