A signed Libbey silhouette series cat goblet. The stem is a “moonstone” (opalescent) figure of a cat. The wine glass is 7 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. The Silhouette series by Libbey-Nash was produced in 1933 and consisted of 13 different animals. Each type of item (goblet, wine, sherry, compote, etc) used a different animal as a stem.

Line 700 was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1929. Offered here is the #710 salad plate in blue crystal. (The color is the glass itself, not a fired on finish.) This porcelain covered box was produced in Hungary by Herend between 1950 and 1970. It is 3 inches long and 3 inches high. The box is molded in the shape of a preening bird. It has a special European style. The bird is hand painted with bright enamels in lovely detail.
