A terrific Art Deco spun aluminum ice bucket for chilling wine and champagne. The front is decorated with a copper plaque depicting the label of a very well-known French winery in Alsace. The winery is famous for its Riesling, but also for Crémant, a sparkling wine native to Alsace. Alsatian wines are traditionally bottled in tall, narrow bottles, hence the shape of this bucket. The bottom is marked "URBA Made In France"...

Gorgeous vintage Hermes silk scarf (“carré”) worked in rich shades of medium blue, cream, golds, browns and greys. The design illustrates various 18th century gilded carriage or chariot wheels, including one emblazoned with an image of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The hand-rolled edges (rolled toward the front) are plump. “Hermès Paris” is worked into the design, as is the signature of the desiger, Caty Latham.

A beautiful set of six silverplated scallop shell dishes by Tiffany & Co. The dishes are worked with wonderful detail—even the feet have a decorative treatment similar to snail shells. These dishes are perfect for butter, mints, nuts, or even individual servings of cocktail sauce. The bottoms are marked “Tiffany & Co/Makers/Silver-Soldered”.

Lovely English 1920's pink guilloche enamel sterling 8 day clock. This great little octagonal clock measures 3 1/8" by 3 1/8". A finely chased silver edge accents the guilloche enameling. The clock face is a beige color with black deco numerals and dark blue hands. The face is covered with a slightly convex glass. Brass easel back. Marks include an anchor, a lion, and an "A"-Birmingham, sterling, 1925. In addition there are makers marks which appear to be ABLP. Excellent condition.

Very fine 1920's deep yellow guilloche enamel sterling silver 8 day clock. This lovely clock measures 4 3/4" high and is 3 1/2" at its widest point. Small blue, white, and green enamel flowers accent each corner. The clock face is a wheat color with gilded numbers, a gold color rim, and blue hands. A convex glass covers the face of the clock. The clock back has a silver easel and is marked with an anchor, a lion, and an "E"--Birmingham, sterling, 1929...

These hand painted decanter bottles were produced by Imperial Glass Company. The shape is shown in the 1941 catalog with various cuttings and decoration. The hand painted flowers are enameled - they do not wash or scrape off the way cold paint would - and are the perfect compliment to FireKing's Peach Blossom decoration. I have 2 different styles. A happily little soul evidently getting much pleasure from the clashing together two metal pot lids. She kneels with her feel tucked under, and her "cymbals" are held on high for maximum effect. Her cheeks are dimpled, her eyes are blue, and she wears a close-fitting brown bonnet, held in place under her chin by a huge pink-brown bow; her curled light brown hair can be seen at her forehead and cheeks...

He wears a clown's outfit of light-blue. He sits on a barrel, evidently singing while he plays his own accompaniment on an accordion. His light-brown hair is swept back from his face in a cascade of curls which reaches his collar.

His jacket has wide sleeves and a ruffled white collar, his trousers are bell-bottomed with turnups; His shoes are gray. ON each sleeve and each leg , as well as at the neck, he wears a large fluffy white button decoration...

A bowl or ashtray in black, still transparent glass. No marks, but Italian (Murano) and probably by Alfredo Barbini, 1950's. The interior iridescent in "oily" rainbow or mother-of-pearl shades so that, in combination with the lobed design, a sea-shell effect is created. The exterior also iridescent, in a metal-like shade. Width: 3 ¾"/10 cm, height: 2"/5 cm. Condition: small nick to bottom at 3 o'clock as shown in the photo, otherwise fine.

An Eames era ashtray, Germany, c 1960. Pale blue and clear glass overlay, with a silver lip at one end. The silver addition with German marks: stamped Von Häfen (in Hamburg) and 835. The base with inscribed mark xeix (?). Width "6 ¼/15,5 cm. Condition: barely visible nick where the silver lip has been fixed to the glass, otherwise fine.

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the cup & saucer set in the rainbow treatment. The color is ruby flash applied over crystal glass. What makes this plate interesting is that the color is applied only to the outer edge of the plate, leaving the center crystal. This treatment was called 'rainbow' and is difficult to find...

Roseville pair of candle holders. Modelled in the Roseville traditional Nouveau-Déco transitional style, glazed in matte green, white and yellow with a design of relief modelled Cosmos flowers, c 1940. Marked Roseville U S A 1151-2. Height 2"/5,5 cm, diameter 3 ¾"/9,5 cm. Condition: a few restored chips to exterior of upper rim of one candle holder (cf. pics) otherwise fine.

This rare and early example of the superb pottery of Ingrid and Erich Triller (TOBO) measures 9 3/4" tall and is 4 1/5" in diameter. On the underside of the foot is painted Triller Tobo. The incredible glaze is a complex of browns and oranges. Excellent condition. There is a very minor glaze eruption (done in manufacture) on the inside of the upper rim, which does not detract at all from the beauty and importance of this great vase. (See photos).

Nice Art Deco brass cocktail shaker in the form of a wine bottle. The bottle separates at the shoulders to reveal the strainer and the lip of the bottle removes for pouring. The bottom of the shaker is indented just as a glass wine bottle is. We’ve had many figural cocktail shakers, but this is the first bottle we’ve had.

The Santa maria line was produced by Consolidated Glass Company in 1926 and items in this line are very difficult to find. Offered here is the #2566 Covered Cigarette Box in crystal. The cover depicts Columbus' flagship, the Santa Maria, while the bottom has dolphins on each side. Excellent condition. The original company ad reads, "Appeals to both men and women. Measuring 9 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches high, this gorgeous, Ohio-made, yellowware fruit bowl features fabulous blue sponging with gold gilt highlights along its decoratively embossed and scalloped rim.

The bowl has glaze crazing typical of an 85+ year old piece of pottery. An extremely tight hairline on one side of the bowl has been photographed for one’s perusal. It does not affect structural integrity, and the pricing of the bowl reflects this imperfection. No other flaws!
