A beautiful and very detailed woodblock print by Japanese artist Ohara Koson (1877-1945) of two herons standing in water with leaves and branches in the background, slightly obscuring the view of a bright crescent moon amongst a beautiful night sky, fading from darker tone blues into icy tones. The herons' feathers are actually embossed into the woodblock and have many other detailed features, such as the scales and claws of their feet and the gleam in their eyes...

A traditional form enlivened by the figure of an octopus squatting in the center, its curled and tangled legs draped over the bowls. Stylish and jokey sterling silver cabbage head sauce bowl and ladle. Made by Buccellati in Italy. Domed cover set in bowl, both comprising overlapping leaves with realistic veins and irregularities. Ladle has branch handle and leaf bowl. Clear glass liner. Ladle marked “Buccellati Italy Sterling”. Bowl has post-1967 mark (26 MI) with “Buccellati / Italy / Sterling” and “925 [in oval]”. This extraordinary and sensuous ceramic sculpture depicts a muscular young man embracing an exaggerated grape cluster. "Drunken Young Man", by Kai Nielsen for Bing & Gröndahl in Copenhagen. This sculpture was one of a series known as "Vinhosten" issued in 1912. Absolutely stunning and in mint condition. It measures 4½" (10.5cm). On the underside is incised KAI NIELSEN, 12, impressed is KOBENHAVN, B & G, the insignia of three houses. Impressed is 4024, 51C. Painted in black is Ø.775.

Smart-looking "No. 250 Coldseal" aluminum cocktail shaker by Kraftware, ca. 1946. The shape is very interesting, tapering from a narrow footed base to broader shoulders and a bell-shaped top. Raised rings add to the look. Bottom is marked "Kraftware." 12.5" tall. Nice condition. This shaker looks terrific when highly polished!! A wonderful addition to your collection, and relatively hard to find!.

This is a really pretty depression glass Delphite blue Doric Footed Sherbet Dish made by Jeannete Glass from 1935 to 1938. This Sherbet Measures 3 1/2 inches high X 3 1/2 inches in diameter at the top. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Be sure to search our other depression glass available. This elegant, delicate water tumbler is by Morgantown Glass from early in the Depression years. It is in the Anna Rose pink color showing the deep optic swirls of the Palm Optic pattern. The foot is also pink and broad for good balance. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. I have the taller version of this pattern in my inventory of elegant glass... take a peek. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.

Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. Excellent condition; about 5% paint loss; the back side has remnants of old fabric-based adhesive tape that could be removed. 10" wide; 15.5" tall.
