This is a really nice Fire King Turquoise Blue handled creamer and sugar bowl made by Anchor Hocking Glass. This Turquoise Blue can be hard to find. The creamer and sugar are signed on the back: FIRE KING - OVEN WARE - MADE IN U.S.A. They each measure 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the top opening not including the handles X 2 3/4inches high. Royal Danish sterling silver sauce bowl on stand. Made by International in Meriden, Conn. Ovoid bowl with tapering sides and short inset foot. Stand has oval well and wide and tapering sides. At ends are open and embossed acorns and scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern name, and nos. G23/2 (bowl) and G39 (stand). Very good condition.

From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a fine vintage Afghani tribal rug, wool on wool handmade construction, using exclusively natural pigments / mineral dyes. A modestly sized but very well-executed and elegant example that works well in either a rustic or formal decor.

Size and Condition: 57 inches long, 39 inches wide. There are some random expected thread pulls and light wear commensurate with age and use, but overall excellent condition.

This is the largest size Thule vase made by Holmgaard. The vase, made in smoke grey glass, is 9 1/4 inches (23.2 cm) in diameter, and stands 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall at the highest point. It tapers to 3 1/8 inches (7.9 cm) at the base. It is in excellent, near mint condition, with no discernable scratches (except for those expected on the base), and no chips cracks or repairs. Absolutely beautiful piece of glass! The base is signed Holmgaard/1961 with Per Lutken's cypher

I visited the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC a little more than a year ago and saw some really creative ceramics with leather incorporated into the composition among related, sculptural works. It did make a spontaneous and lasting impression that led me to recognize and purchase a wonderful and unusual work by the same hand found in an antiques and collectibles market.

An unusual pair of Chinese cloisonne vases with flowers in vases, coins (wealth), peaches (longevity), peppers, and censers on depicted in deep vibrant colors. In excellent condition, they measure 6.5" high.

This is a 19th century Chinese shallow curved plate featuring a lively grouping of eight spotted blue and white horses, depicting a wedding story from Chinese mythology; unglazed footrim; greige coloration; a four-character mark on the underside; condition: several minor chips on the rim; SIZE: 5" diam.

Large folk art hooked cotton rug of a maroon horse outlined in black and with black hooves and tail trotting to the left against a tan ground with maroon corners and blue bands to enclose the horse. Some of the ground hooked in squares of different shades. Dots of brown for nose, eye and in the tail. 22 by 35 inches.

Condition: some wear and small losses around edges, stain at the edge above the horses head and below raised hoof...

This three cup candelabra (which may be turned upside down) measures 5" tall and is 7 1/8" in length. On the underside of one of the cups is painted Sweden 26III; on another the Gustavsberg Studio hand insignia and the painter's mark of a star. The cups are hand painted in blue, yellow and red. Excellent condition.

Pair of Edwardian sterling silver creamer and sugar. Made by S. Kirk & Son Inc. in Baltimore. Ovoid bodies and high looping handles. Creamer has helmet mouth and sugar has raised cover and finial. Frond and flower repousse; at bottom leaf and scallop shell border. Fully marked including maker’s stamp (1925-32), no. 74, and phrase “Hand Decorated”. Very good condition.

It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the cup & saucer set in amethyst.
