AMAZING and RARE Murano Cased Blue SFUMATO Art Glass Bowl with Sand Dollar or Star Pattern!!! Attributed to Alfredo BARBINI for VAMSA, circa 1930-40s!!! This piece has amazing craftsmanship. This lovely rolled rim console bowl may be by Tiffin Glass. It is a soft, satin heather-green with embossed fish and stylized waves surrounding the rim. This bright centerpiece bowl sits on a finished satin collar foot and measures 10 1/2" across. It is in very good condition and would brighten any dining table. I have other Tiffin and elegant glassware in my inventory... take a peek. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.
Art Deco sculptural vase: young “exotic” girl with a water jar, by Lore Friedrich Gronau for Karlsruhe, dark reddish-brown clay, partly glazed, a kind of faience. Figurines by sculptress and ceramist LFG (1908-2002) for Rosenthal and Karlsruhe often depict dancing or reclining women. Height "4 ¾ / 12 cm. Raised Karlsruhe mark and model number 3739 plus Made in Germany in black. Condition: small repair to the rim of the jar (cf. pics)...

The lighter has a button release and DOES spark up! This glass piece has a hole in the bottom, which is for the lighter part to attach to the glass with a screw (lighter is lose on top). Classic vase form in mezza filigrana using lattimo and transparent copper blue threads. The form is augmented with side applications of basilica rope in crystal with gold aventurine and a crimped crystal lip decoration with gold aventurine. Measuring 6"dia.x 9"h., the vase is in excellent condition and bears portions of its round silver foil Made in Italy label described in Leslie Pina's ITALIAN GLASS, page 15.
