This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Meissen in 1930. It has a diameter of 8 inches and a height of 3 1/4 inches. The fine hard paste porcelain is reticulated in a snowflake type pattern. The bowl features three dolphin shaped feet. The center of the bowl is hand painted with brightly colored fruit done in a realistic manner. This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Meissen in the 1930s. It has first quality crossed swords under glaze. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/4 inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/2 inches. A beautiful bird sits on a flowering branch while in insect flutters by. The style is Japanese Kakiemon, done in shades of blue, green. and violet. The cup is sparsely decorated with a flower sprig here and a bug, in a minimalist manner...

This elegant "CARNIVALE" vase by Fratelli Toso has polychrome colors and a satin finish. Produced in the 1920's, the CARNIVALLE series is sought after by collectors. See Leslie Pina's book: FRATELLI TOSO, ITALIAN GLASS 1854-1980, page 48-49. The vase is 8.25"h x4.5"w, unmarked and is in excellent condition.
