This beautiful comport and liner plate was made by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the piece was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Iris', though it looks like wild roses to me.... The comport or mayo bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches in diameter, the under plate is 7 inches in diameter. Cambridge Statuesque Carmen Compote. This the largest of the Statuesque line. Stands 9 inches tall and is 6.5 inches wide at the bowl. It is in excellent, pristine condition. Produced in the 1920's.

This is an Unusual 800/1000 FINE SILVER SALT CELLAR from a Virginia, U.S.A. Estate. Made with a "Beast of Burden Motif" this DONKEY is carrying Two OPEN SALT Containers shaped as SADDLE BAGS. The size overall is 2"W X 3 1/16 L" X 1 3/4" Tall. Both Containers are marked on the interior bottom: 800. One Spoon found with this item and included. Likely of EUROPEAN origin. This porcelain chocolate cup and saucer was produced in England by Mintons before 1920. The saucer has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches and the cup is 3 1/8 inches high without the handle. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The cup has an Empire style handle that rises above the rim of the cup. The cup flares at the rim and tapers towards the middle giving it a graceful quality. The set is decorated with delicate, flowing art nouveau flowers...

Cambridge Glass Company made this lion in the 1920's. There are no chips or cracks in the glass. Thanks for looking.

These porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1929. There is a date cipher which indicates this year. We have three plates pictured but you may purchase one or more of them. The plates are signed by W.H. Austin. They measure 8 inches square. They are made of the finest quality bone china. The ground color is a deep cobalt blue. The interior band on the plate is cream colored. The center is hand painted with glorious realistic flowers in bright colors...

This is an intaglio cut crystal sherry glass, ca. 1920, signed HAWKES, in the Gravic Fruit pattern, with luscious hand cut and frosted plums, apples, and pears suspended from beautifully incised branches; with knopped stem and square incised foot. A Set of Four Gorham Sterling Silver Candlesticks in an Art Deco pattern. Two have the date mark for 1929 and two for 1930, all with removeable bobeches. Dimensions; 6" high x 3.75 at base. Each alternating lobe has a design of hand painted flowers against a cream background surrounded by a dark blue lobe hand-painted with gilt flowers and other design motifs. An English Bursley Ware bowl by Charlotte Rhead, 1940s, of square shape. Slip-glaze decoration in the Carnations or T. L. 40 pattern in blue and gilt on off-white, marbled ground. Factory mark and TL 40 = pattern number and the mark of the painter who applied the raised decoration, Mary Powell. Height "2¼/ 6 cm, width (diagonally) "4¾/ 12 cm. Condition: fine. Please note that all the little dots and accents that unfortunately look brown on the photos are really in gilt.

A beautiful Art Deco green overlay cut crystal perfume bottle in Design "7623" by Cristalleries de Nancy. The bottle is cut in alternating pillars accented with stars and printies. The hollow-blown stopper is cut to match, with a large start at the apex. The base is stamped with the acid signature "Cristal Nancy France." This particular pattern is more often seen in cranberry overlay and in a round shape rather than square...
