CANDY DISH with LID
This is a really pretty ruby flashed English Hobnail footed candy dish with lid made by Westmoreland Glass. This candy dish measure 6 1/4 inches high to top of the knob with the lid on. It measure 4 3/8 inches in diameter at the widest part. Both the candy dish bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The ruby flashing is very good. A Royal Doulton Pixies D3690 series ware baby or child's bowl circa 1920s. This seldom seen 7-1/2" across ceramic seriesware design shows three green and yellow garbed pixies holding Chinese lanterns. It has the black Royal Doulton England mark with the D 3690 hand painted number. It is in fair condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 5/8" chip to the upper rim and some allover crazing. it was introduced in 1913 and was discontinued by 1929 or 1930...

Lovely pair of sterling silver short candlesticks, the sockets with an engraved design and flaring outline suggestive of a tulip blossom. The design has a nice Art Deco feel and is really much more interesting than the typical short candlesticks of this type. The bottoms are marked “Sterling” but have no maker’s mark.

Origin: America, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent, the bottom edge of one stick has a few truly pinpoint-sized dings (not really visible except when upside down)...

An elegant pair of 1st standard (950/1000 pure) silver jiggers by Hermes in the form of tankards. Each is fully hallmarked by Ravinet D'Enfert, the company responsible for most of Hermès silver creations in the Deco era. The bottom of each is marked "Hermès Paris". The jiggers are accompanied by an Hermès drawstring pouch.

Offered is this rare Murano glass compote, made by Barovier & Toso (designer: Ercole Barovier) around 1940. The shell-shaped ('Conchiglia') compote is 15 inches (38 cm) long and 8 3/4 inches (22 cm) high. It is in very good condition. The pontil is polished. The shell-shaped compote has a complex marine-themed foot/support, also done with gold flecks (also, there is a slight iridescence to the blue-top glass)...
