These glass tear catchers or weeping bottles were for saving tears of grief. Such blown glass receptacles were placed on dressing tables, and on the first anniversary of the death, the tears were poured over the grave. This bottle is 7 3/8" long by 9/16" in diameter.

This Georg Jensen sterling silver and onyx ring—no.97—was created decades ago (probably in the 1950s) by the jewelry designers Nanna and Jorgen Ditzel. Their NJ mark is inside the ring as well as the Georg Jensen mark, 925-S, Denmark, and the number 97. The ring sits about a centimeter or roughly a quarter of an inch above the finger. The onyx stone is carved in the cabochon manner, on the top and bottom of the stone. A large stone, it measures about 25mm x 18mm...

A Fa Dahlia Dutch 835 solid silver pastry pie lifter or cake server dated 1920. This ornate European silver 8-1/2" dessert server features a high relief village scene, flowers and a mythological mask on the pierced work blade and the stem is fancy as well. This fine dining or tea table serving piece is topped with a finely detailed sailing ship. Fenton Cranberry Vase is in mint condition. No logo on this one, therefore, made before 1970. It is 4.75" tall and abut 3" at its widest.

The classic sterling and rosewood three-piece carving set by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1944. The set usually consists of only two pieces. Set consists of a two-pronged meat fork(14" long) and two carving knives(17" and 15 1/2" long each). The rosewood and sterling handles have a glorious design and the knives blades are iron(and have some rust). The handles are in excellent condition. A Sterling Silver Teapot and Coffee pot by gorham. There is a Date Mark for 1923 on both the Teapot and Coffeepot. The Teapot (Number A2412 and 1 3/8 pints) measures 6" high x 10.5" wide and weighs 14.6 Troy ounces. The coffeepot (Number A2411 and 1 3/4 pints) measures 8" high and 10" wide and weighs 17.3 Troy ounces. There is a monogram on each. In excellent condition.
