An example of the photograph "The Orchard Bend", circa 1910, so titled and signed in ink "Wallace Nutting", 8 3/4" by 11 3/4" in the laminated dark old-style likely original framing. The scene depicted is a group of pink-flowering trees by a stone wall adjacent to a dirt track which is picturesquely bending out of sight, likely in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts. Wallace Nutting works have been widely collected for decades...

Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1122 2 1/2 oz footed cordial or whiskey tumbler in amethyst. Tumblers are very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. Bubble was produced by Anchor Hocking from the 1940's through 1965. The sapphire blue color is a beautiful light blue unlike any other depression era color. Offered here is the 8 1/4 inch round vegetable bowl in perfect condition. See my other listings for more in this pattern.

This glass vase was produced in France in the 1920s. We attribute it to Daum Lorrain for its color and style. It is not signed. The vase is 12 3/4 inches high and the diameter of the opening is 5 3/4 inches. It is blown into a mold producing its art deco form. The base is thick and quite heavy. The vase draws gracefully upward from this point with the glass thinning significantly. The colors within the glass are iron red and mauve. They form a pattern with a marble like texture...

This Fazzoletto bowl utilizes the filigrana a retortoli technique, used in Murano since the 16th century; jade green and lattimo "netted" vertical canes produce this elegant coloring. Venini's fazzoletto design is documented in numerous books, most recently in "Paulo Venini and His Furnace" by Marino Barovier and Carla Sunego, P.131. Made in the 1950's, this beauty is 4"hx5"w and in excellent condition

Great Art Deco figural cocktail shaker in the form of a milk can. The shaker is entirely hand made from soldered sheet copper. A similar shaker in silverplate is pictured in Visakay, but this is the only copper version we've seen. The cork-stoppered lid removes to reveal a removable metal strainer. The bottom is stamped "H.E. Wright Company/Boston, Mass.".

Origin: America, circa 1930. Condition: excellent, no dings or leaks. Size: 11-3/4" tall.

This porcelain plate was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufactory or KPM in 1925. The date letter indicates this year. The plate has a diameter of 9 ¾”. It has a finely reticulated border, all outlined with gold. The center of the plate is hand painted with a scene of the 13th century fortress at Godesberg, Germany. It is painted in monochrome shades of red rust color. There is a garland of roses encircling the border with gold leaves and stems...

This is a really great ruby red 8 1/4 inch Mary Gregory plate made by Westmoreland Glass. This Plate can be hard to find. It features a Girl Ice Skating Pulling a Sled with a Dog. It is artist signed by: D. Eckenrode 1979. This plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The hand painted design is all very good. 16094272 A Carder era Steuben Verre de Soie cologne bottle with a light blue jade stopper. The bottle is shown as shape 1988 in the Steuben factory line drawings and is 7 3/4 inches tall with the stopper. There is a polished pontil mark but the bottle is unsigned as was normal on most Verre de Soie items.

Sharon is one of the most widely recognized and collected depression glass patterns. Made by Federal Glass from 1935 to 1939, it is popular in pink, green and amber. Danish Midcentury Modern sterling silver compote. Wide and round bowl mounted to shaft with understated Classical ornament: Urn with bold and stylized leaf-and-dart ornament on sides, in turn mounted to baluster with half fluting; wavy borders. Domed foot. Visible hand hammering. Fully marked including maker’s stamp for Roif Fritiof Bratland, who was active from 1956-73, as well as no. 85A. Very good condition.

This vintage amethyst Knickerbocker figurine or novelty stem is by Morgantown Glass from the 1940s. It features a crystal clear stem of man in a top hat wearing a monocle (looks like the Planter Peanut's man.) The flared art deco amethyst blown bowl darkens as it forms the base, that is then attached to the stem. The foot is also amethyst and is blown, finished glass that is also attached to the clear stem He stands 5 1/4" high and is in perfect, unused condition. Highly collectible...

18014440 A signed “Lustre Art” shade, opal exterior with gold iridescent interior. The shade is decorated with green and gold hanging hearts and gold threading. The shade has a scalloped rim and is signed on the 2 1/4 inch diameter fitter rim. The 5 inch tall shade is in excellent condition.
