Iris & Herringbone was originally made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 32 during the depression. The pattern proved so popular that in the 1950's, they reissued it in the marigold iridescent color. Pictured here is the 4 inch wine in excellent condition. This size holds 3 oz and is hard to find. Mayfair is one of the most sought after Depression Glass patterns. Produced by Hocking Glass from 1931 to 1936, it is often called Open Rose by collectors. An exceptional example of the work of Ingrid and Erich Triller. This vase measures 5" tall and is 3" in diameter. On the underside is painted Triller and Tobo. The glaze is a complex of blue/grey. Mint condition.
Consolidated Glass Company produced the Catalonian line in 1927. It was made to look like glass found in Catalonia Spain at the archaeological sites, and had bubbles and raised rings blown into the glass. This is the #1122 2 1/2 oz footed cordial or whiskey tumbler in emerald green. Tumblers are very difficult to find in this pattern, so get them while you can. This really pretty pink Mayfair Open Rose Depression Glass Cup and Saucer with Cup Ring was made by Hocking Glass from 1931 to 1937. This Saucer can be hard to find. The Cup measures 3 1/2 inches in diameter X 2 inches high. The Saucer measures 5 3/4 inches across. Both the Cup and Saucer are in very good condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. Classical urn vase by Herend. The porcelain factory in Herend, Hungary, was founded in the 1820's and is still working. The urn is the raspberry red version of their Chinese Bouquet pattern, the mark indicates a date before 1980. No lid. Height "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: fine.
