This beautifully handcrafted vintage tortoise shell case was made to hold cigars in the 1920's having a stylized leaf design incised in gold metal inside, simple gold clasp and domed rectangular shape. Tests 10K gold. Measures 5 1/2 "x 3". Condition is near perfect. Small round test mark inside case. This item cannot be shipped outside the US. A great addition to a box collection. desk top decor or cigar accessory collector.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by the Schwarzburger Werkstatten or Schwarzburg Workshops in the 1920s. The base has the impressed initials AST which stand for the artist Albert Storch. The factory was founded by Max Aldolf Pfeiffer in 1908 and he was the director until 1913 at which time he became the artistic director at Meissen. The highest standards of artistic accomplishment is evident. The macaw is 15 1/2 inches high, 12 inches wide and 7 inches deep...
A large sterling silver bowl from Atelier Borgila, Erik Fleming in Stockholm, Sweden. This was a 1941 Presentation Gift from General Motors Imports, inscription on bottom as shown. Measures about 5 1/2" tall, 7 1/2" across and weighs about 737 grams. Has decorative engraving on one side and a gold wash in the interior. Very good condition, does show a little wear and light scratches. In its original presentation box. Fine example of Scandinavian design from this workshop.
Two unique art glass bowls by Asa (Åsa) Brandt, Sweden. ÅB is said to have been the first glass artist in Europe to set up her own independent studio, in 1968. Controlled marbled or spatter glass design in white and blue, red and green. Both signed Åsa. Diameter "7 and 5 ¼ / 18 and 13 cm, height "2 ¾ and 2 ½ / 7 and 6.5 cm respectively. Condition: fine.

Sterling silver pastry server in Georg Jensen’s 1927 “Viking” pattern (also called “Nordisk”). This is one of the rarest Jensen patterns, and was designed by the master himself. It is beautifully crafted of the heaviest silver and combines traditional Scandinavian motifs with an Art Deco sensibility. The reverse is stamped with the hallmark used until 1930. This pattern has been out of production for many years, and is extremely hard to find.

Signed Venini Fazzoletto (aka: handkerchief) in slightly opalescent Lemon Yellow glass; vase stands 8 inches (20 cm) tall and is 8 inches (20 cm) wide and has a polished pontil and "pulled" points. The piece is acid stamped venini/murano/ITALIA. Vases of this type were made early in the production with the more complex designs coming later. No chips, cracks or repairs. Circa 1950

Northwood made a lot of stretch glass. This color is very similar to Fenton's Stengl blue stretch. This 8" blue pedestalled compote is in excellent condition.
