A lovely set of mid-century enameled sterling silver coffee spoons by Henry Clifford Davis. Davis focused mostly on smaller objects, often enhanced with enamel. This glass and sterling dish was produced in the United States by the Cambridge Glass Mfg. Co. before 1950. It has a diameter of
6 1/2 inches and is 2 1/4 inches deep. The glass is acid etched with a floral pattern called “Chantilly.” The dish is divided into three sections. It has a heavy sterling silver base.

Although the detailed design is similar, each of these Spratling candlesticks were handwrought a few years apart. Each carries specific Spratling hallmarks coinciding with their construction dates. The earlier example is 2 1/8" high. The later is 2 1/4" high. Each measures 2 1/4" across at the base. The pair weigh 155 grams. Both are in beautiful condition.
