In the south of France, tradition dictates that anise-flavored aperitifs should be served with water to dilute the drink. Makers such as Ricard and Pernod provided advertising pitchers to local bars and cafes to increase their sales. This squared-off rectangular form is less common than the traditional globe-shaped pitcher and became popular after World War II...

Rare blond tortoiseshell case, circa 1930, is considered the most desirable of all tortoiseshell. This handmade case was originally made to hold cigarettes but is a perfect size for business cards. Having a rich amber color and inlaid with a gold diamond shape monogram SH, slightly domed and grained surface, arm swings out from base to create a stand. Measurements: 5"x 3 1/2"x 1/4". Very good vintage condition with minor surface scratches and small chip inside lip.

This Fenton Red Hobnail Bell is in mint condition. Made in the early 1960's and stands about 6" tall.

Morgantown made Golf Ball from 1931-39. This 4.75" green stem is in mint condition.

Copper Pin Tray made by Rebajes. Tray measures 3 1/2 inches (8.9 cm) in diameter. The overall condition is fair, as the tray is "out of round" and has some stains and marks. Signed Rebajes. circa 1950's

This is a really nice Fire King Turquoise Blue handled creamer and sugar bowl made by Anchor Hocking Glass. This Turquoise Blue can be hard to find. The creamer and sugar are signed on the back: FIRE KING - OVEN WARE - MADE IN U.S.A. They each measure 3 1/4 inches in diameter at the top opening not including the handles X 2 3/4inches high. This elegant, delicate water tumbler is by Morgantown Glass from early in the Depression years. It is in the Anna Rose pink color showing the deep optic swirls of the Palm Optic pattern. The foot is also pink and broad for good balance. It stands 4 3/4" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. I have the taller version of this pattern in my inventory of elegant glass... take a peek. Insurance and confirmation are included in the price.

A classic mid-century sterling silver jigger by Smith & Smith and retailed by Black, Starr & Gorham, one of America's leading luxury stores in the 1950s. The jigger is simply decorated with a series of three incised rings that do double duty as markers for variously sized pours. The bottom is fully hallmarked...

A tall amber-colored, signed art deco era decanter, made by Moser. Overall, the decanter is in good condition (the decanter has been examined under black-light: there are no cracks in the decanter) - there are some chips however (the biggest one shown in the last picture). The tall decanter is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 5 1/2 inches (14 cm) wide at the bottom. It is signed on its bottom (also, a similar decanter is shown on page 141 of Baldwin's book, 'Moser Artistic Glass edition two').

This is a really nice Frosted Glass Line Number 750 Basket made by Westmoreland Glass. This Basket measures 6 3/4 inches high to top of handle. It is signed WG on the bottom and features the Flying Pheasant Game Bird decoration. It is in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The Pheasant decoration is very good.
