Superb large modern glass mold blown vessel with iridescent scavo textured surface. One of my Venetian colleagues, a dealer in 20th century Murano Glass identified this awesome vessel as the design of Ermanno Nason for Cenedese and valued it at 1000euro. The vessel is in excellent condition and measures 10.5"x10.5"x10"

A pair of small pottery spill vases, Japan, unmarked, probably Kyoto, 1920’s. Bottle shaped, decorated with hand painted flowers and borders in olive green and black, pink, brown and blue against a cream-coloured background. Height "5/ 12,5 cm. Vase from the "Finlandia" series by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala, Finland, 1965-69. Of tree trunk shape, the glass a very light green, watery shade.The irregular surface was created by the charred wooden moulds used for the Finlandia collection. The vase still retains its Iittala label and the polished base is signed Timo Sarpaneva 7362. Height "6/15 cm, diameter "4/ 10,2 cm. Condition: a few nicks to the sharply cut rim (cf. at 10 and 2 o’clock on pic.5)

This porcelain and sterling silver demitasse cup and saucer was produced in England by Wedgwood in the 1920s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set is made of fine, white bone china. The well of the saucer is indented so that the cup sits in it securely and will not slide off. This is known as a “trembleuse” cup and saucer. 19th/20th Century cylindrical bone scroll holder inscribed and stained with insects, moths, and frog, surmounted by a carved rootwood figure of a crawling toad. It is 7 1/4" tall and has a character mark to base.
