A rare Fostoria Manor 2443 etch 286 green elegant glass bowl circa 1930s. This Art Deco period 12" x 5-1/2" oval centrepiece bowl in the Manor pattern etch 286 was only produced by the Fostoria Glass Company in the green color from 1931-1935. It was produced in clear from 1931-1944. This piece (catalog number 2443) is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. This Fenton grape and cable carnival glass bowl is in the marigold color. It is 7 1/2" in diameter and stands 3 3/8" tall. This bowl is much like the Northwood version with four groups of grapes. Fenton arranges the four groups of grapes evenly with 14 grapes in each group. What seems to be different to me is the saw tooth edge much like Northwood.

Two charming little elephants and a kangaroo, part of a miniature glass menagerie from the Bimini Werkstätte in Vienna (1923 – 1938). Lampworked, the insides covered by a shimmering mother-of-pearl-like mercury layer. Height "1 ½ - 1 ¾ / 3.5 - 5 cm. Condition: a few flakes to the interior (cf. pics).

A pretty Art Deco cut glass perfume bottle with an intaglio stopper. The periwinkle blue body is cut in a diamond pattern, while the flat round stopper has lapidary cut edges and an intaglio four-leaf clover. The overall effect is very sweet. The flat base is acid-etched “Made in Czechoslovakia” inside an elongated oval.

Origin: Czechoslovakia, ca. 1920. Condition: excellent, no chips or cracks. Size: 3-3/4” tall.

These lovely sterling silver spoons are in a Colonial Revival pattern, simply decorated with a shell at the tip of the handle. The backs are stamped with the high-end retailer's name "Bigelow, Kennard & Co." of Boston, indicating a date before 1922. The backs of the handles also have a monogram "T" in a style that would point to ca. 1890-1900, and the mark 925/1000 which would also support that date range.

The Florentine pattern was produced by Hazel Atlas Glass Company from 1932 to 1935. It was made with scalloped edges or straight edges. Although Hazel Atlas didn't distinguish one from the other, collectors today call the scalloped edge 'Florentine 1' and the straight edge style 'Florentine 2'. This wonderful vintage piece is handmade by Morgantown Glass. The wine bowl is surrounded by medallions of dancing nudes and flaming torches. It sits on the Ballerina stem (#7630) of pulled glass that is attached to the broad, clear foot. This stem stands 6" tall and is in excellent, undamaged condition. The El Mexicano pattern was designed to look like old, crudely made Mexican Glass. Made by Morgantown Glass in the early 1930's, the molds were later reworked for their crinkle line.
