Being offered is a superb handwrought silverplate circa 1968 pitcher made by Los Castillo, of Taxco, Mexico. This handmade allover hammered bulbous pitcher featuring mother of pearl applied inset on stylized body and large curved handle. Dimensions are 8 inches tall by 8 inches across the handle. No monogram. Marked. In excellent condition.

A silver jigger engraved with the pennant of the Norwegian-American Lines and the name of the passenger liner SS Stavangerfjord. The ship was commissioned in 1917 and sailed until 1963. In 1964, it was anchored in Tokyo Bay for use a hotel during the Tokyo Olympics. This jigger is engraved "Olympiske Leker", indicating that it comes from the short time the liner was used during the games. The bottom is marked "S830". Origin: Norway, 1964...
This stylized interpretation of a waterbird illustrates the inspiration that the environment of the Venetian Lagoon has provided for centuries of artists. The waterbird sculpture is done in sommerso, with wine red blending masterfully into light cobalt blue. I have seen this design attributed to both Archimede Seguso and Alfredo Barbini. The waterbird is in good condition, no chips at the feet, polished base, unmarked.

This one is a fairly straight forward copy of one of a set of dishes at the Tokyo Museum depicting an old cherry tree with abundant blossoms, proably made sometime in the 20th century. Fine quality carafe with matching glass or tumbler which fits over top of carafe, both in blue and white swirled designs on clear glass, polished lip and bases, signature, mid century era. The blue is cobalt, it appears to have a turquoise hue in some of the photos.
Measures 7 1/2" high with glass on top, carafe alone is 6 1/2" high and roughly 4 1/2" wide, the glass is 3 7/8" high and 2 3/4" wide.
The swirl design is very precise, the sign of fine quality glass, and it is heavy as well...

Modern floral expression using abstract floral murrines in a field of thin copper red vines and green opal leaves. This abstract imagery floats on a thick case of clear glass behind which is a gather of transparent copper blue glass with a heavy coating of aventurine. The thick clear layer gives the design an interesting depth. Measuring 2.5"dia. x 4.25"h, in excellent condition, unmarked.
Green and yellow bearded dog figural decanter, hollow with hole for cork. Seguso made these decanters for Luxardo in the 1960's. Length/height of the decanter is 12 inches (30cm). Condition is very good with no chips, cracks or repairs. Unsigned, but with Luxardo liqueur labels, import labels. Please note: there is some "debris" inside the bottle as I did not wash it out for fear of destroying the labels.

The base is marked "ORTEGA" "925". It has also an Eagle 8 mark and a serial number of "39637". It is in impeccable condition and weighs approximately 4.6 lbs.

A rare vintage ruby glass cocktail in the form of a fire extinguisher. The side is silkscreened with instructions for use such as, “In emergencies charge with ingredients, shake well and dispense freely until conflagration is under control.” The shaker retains its original coppertone steel lid and interior strainer.

Sumptuous sculpted sommerso bowl in ever so soft hues of teal and amber glass. My guess is that this is a Flavio Poli design due to the purity of form and soft hues of color. Obviously inspired by the nature of the Venetian Lagoon, this piece resembles a birds eye view of the island of Murano and its surrounding Lagoon. The base of the bowl was protected over the years by three felt pads added to the bottom, so the piece is in great condition. It measures 9.5"w x 3"h, unmarked.
If you don't collect Jadeite, this one might get you started. It is provocative and unique among Jadeite wares, featuring a voluptuous nude female figure on each of the 3 sides of the vase. Good condition with original base punch hole intact. The main defect is 2 parallel small tight cracks about 2 millimeters. There is also some faint discoloration around this condition.
