Fostoria Chintz Tri-Candy is in mint condition. Chintz - (1940-1977) - This beautiful Fostoria etching is pattern #338. It measures about 7x7x7x3.5" high. Chintz enjoyed a long production period and was one of Fostoria's most popular etchings. The Chintz line was extensive and the pattern can be found on many items. Very fine sterling silver trumpet vase with a ruby glass liner. The vase's body is intricately pierced in an acanthus leaf motif to show the rich red liner. The undulating flared rim lends a slight Art Nouveau feeling to the overall look. The base is marked for the Watson Co.

The Manhattan pattern was produced by Hocking Glass Company from 1939 to 1941. Its clean, deco lines makes it very popular with today's collectors.
