PB220004 A very scarce decorated blue Aurene fan vase. The vase is shape 6297 and is marked “Steuben Aurene 6297" on the foot. The pontil is unpolished. The vase is 8 ½ inches tall and is decorated in white leaf and vine decoration. An example of this vase is shown in Figure 10.120 of Dimitroff’s “Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass.”

A superb example of modern glass design by Anzolo Fuga for AVEM. Offered is this beautiful pulled-feather vase made by Durand around 1930. The vase is just under 10 inches tall. This very large Faience vase designed by Stig Lindberg measures 15 1/4" (39cm) tall. On the underside is impressed Hand Drejad (hand thrown) and the old Gustavsberg anchor insignia. Painted in blue is Sweden, the number 121-T-621, and the Gustavsberg hand insignia. The artist who painted this piece is Franca Pugno, whose symbol of an x in a box is painted in red. This piece is featured on page 6 of the Faience brochure published by Gustavsberg. Mint condition.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Hungary by the Herend Factory between 1950 and 1970. The saucer has a diameter of 4 1/2 inches and the cup is 2 1/4 inches high. The set has a molded swirl and basket weave pattern in the porcelain. It is hand painted with brightly colored flowers and fruits. There are tiny insects dotting the inside of the cup and on the outside of the saucer. They don’t eat too much. Condition: Excellent

Offered is this beautiful, large and heavy Murano glass bowl with 'ovals', made most likely, by Barovier & Toso. The bowl is approximately 14 inches (35 cm) wide and 6 1/2 inches (16,5 cm) tall. It is in very good condition, without chips, cracks or repairs. Polished pontil. Unsigned, as expected - these 'oval' decor was typical of Ercole Barovier (please refer to page 34 of Leslie Pina's book, 'Italian Glass century 20', for an Ercole Barovier designed vase with blue ovals).

Very fine pair of George VI sterling silver master salt dishes. The salts are raised on paw feet surmounted by lion masks. The everted rims are gadrooned. The salts retain the original cobalt blue glass liners. The salts are identical, but were made in different years by the same silversmith. One has the date mark for 1936 and the other for 1939. The only difference is that glass liner in one is a little thicker than the other.
