A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the form of a chrome lyre with red bakelite-topped cocktail picks forming the instrument’s strings. The whole is set on a mahogany base. Sets such as this were used on bar and café counters to serve cocktail garnishes, canapés or even escargot.

Striking, tall, double sommerso vase form by Fratelli Toso. Interior gather of soft gold toned transparent glass emerges in sommerso from a heavy green lip, cased in crystal. The form is blown into a rib mold with green canne applied at the high points of the ribs. This vase is a fine example of mid-century innovation of traditional techniques. Measuring 6.75" (top dimension) x 12" tall, the vase is in good condition, bears the J.I. CO. import label, unmarked.

This large basket is quite the find. It has an over-sized twist handle of crystal clear glass. The rim is surrounded by gradated colors - almost like a stain of cranberry red. The body is heavy (4 lbs.) and is clear the shines yellow-green under black light. The bottom shows a finished pontil. Nice bar accessory for the cocktail buff, this bone handled sterling silver measuring jigger was made by the New York firm John Hasselbring, early 20th century, makers mark, Sterling and Style No. 40 stamped on jigger, and silver base stamped Sterling. From the Revernay pottery (founded in a village with that name around 1900 and moved to Vallauris in southern France after WWII).
