A large Murano glass fish figurine with silver flecks and variegated color splashes, designed in the style of Dino Martens (for Aureliano Toso). The figurine is 16 1/4 inches (41,3 cm) tall and 7 1/2 inches (19 cm) wide. Except for some roughness at the bottom of the tail (probably as made), it is in fine condition. It is made in green and clear sommerso glass. Unsigned - remnants of a large yellow sticker on bottom (please see last picture).

These porcelain plates were produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1929. There is a date cipher which indicates this year. We have three plates pictured but you may purchase one or more of them. Beautiful green gold silver silk bed cover made of the bottom trim from antique wedding saris . The cover fits a queen, the seams are somewhat delicate and a few have seperated but easily fixed with double sided iron tape I fixed a few spots over the years . This was used in a spare guest suite. I bought this wholesale in 2002 at the LA trade show for 275.00 size approx 84 by 93" due to the amount of seams and that it is antique fabrics we are selling this asis.

A Sterling Silver Hand Wrought Arts and Crafts Square Shaped Bowl or Dish, by Arthur Stone of Gardner, Massachusetts. The craftsman was either David Carlson (1909-1919) or Magnus Carlberg (1922-1932). Dimensions; 4.5" x 4.5" x 1.25" high, weight 5.5 Troy ounces. Excellent condition. There is a monogram "JBR" on the underside and the date Jan.15, 1944, presumably given as a gift at that later time.

An English sterling silver 2 handle loving cup or large sugar bowl, fully hallmarked for London 1923. It measures 3-5/8" diameter and 2-7/8" tall. This item has never been engraved nor had a monogram. It has very attractive ornate handles and weighs 180 grams. This pair of glass candlesticks was produced in Europe. They are unmarked but we think that they are Bohemian, made in the 1920's. They are 8 3/4 inches high and the base has a diameter of 5 1/4 inches. The glass has a lead content and makes a ringing sound when tapped. They are hand blown and joined in four parts. They have pontils on the bottoms. The shape creates an elegant, sleek silhouette...

This beautiful pillow vase was produced by the Consolidated Glass Company as part of the Martele line. Designed by Reuben Haley, the vase was produced in the late 1920's. The pattern is called 'Olives', though some feel they look more like plums... The vase is listed in the Consolidated catalog as the #2695 Olive vase, and measures 8 inches by 3 1/2 inches by 4 inches high...

An 8 inch diameter Durand (Vineland Flint Glass) salad plate in green with opal peacock feather decoration with a crosshatched cut center and a geometric border with floral lozenges.

This "Three Fruits Medallion 9" spatula-footed unstippled carnival bowl, Meander back was made by Northwood. This pattern was obtained from the old Jefferson Company circa 1909.

There are no chips, cracks, or repairs to this item. This item is in Excellent condition with the usual straw marks.

Offered is a splendid Colora vase by Vicke Lindstrand for Kosta, Sweden. It measures 8 3/4" tall. On the underside is etched Kosta, LC18. Excellent condition.

18014440 A signed “Lustre Art” shade, opal exterior with gold iridescent interior. The shade is decorated with green and gold hanging hearts and gold threading. The shade has a scalloped rim and is signed on the 2 1/4 inch diameter fitter rim. The 5 inch tall shade is in excellent condition.

A signed Steuben jar with threaded lid on an optic swirled rib footed body. The bristol yellow jar is 7 inches tall and 3 3/4 inches in diameter at the shoulder. There are two minor chips on the threading of the lid. The base has a polished pontil and there is an acid stamped Steuben fleur de lys mark. The bottle is shown in the factory line drawings and the Carder Steuben Club shape gallery as shape 6733.

 

This really pretty Green Slag Glass Paneled Grape Small Canister with Lid was made by Westmoreland Glass. This Canister bottom measures 5 inches high X 4 1/2 inches in diameter at the top of the canister. It measures 7 1/4 inches to top of knob with the lid on. The bottom is signed WG. Both the Canister bottom and lid are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. This is a beautiful, hard to find, piece of Westmoreland Glass. 17114428 A scarce gold Favrile underplate for a cordial. The 3 inch diameter plate has a polished pontil and is signed “LCT G1478" by the polished pontil. The rim of the plate exhibits a very nice onion skin pattern. Under plates such as this are shown in a page from the 1902 Tiffany Studios booklet. A copy of this page can be found on page 54 of Robert Koch’s “Louis C. Tiffany’s Glass-Bronzes-Lamps.”

This majolica pitcher has an unusual anchor and chain pattern around the top and pale pink flowers with green leaves on a cream background in the center. It has a brown basket weave bottom. There is some clay shrinkage on the inside. See picture for details. There are no marks.

This really pretty crystal clear Diane, Etch No. 752, 3400/135 Four Footed Cupped Bowl was made by Cambridge Glass from 1931 to 1956. This Bowl can be hard to find. Aldo Londi for Bitossi: a massive stoneware vase, thinly applied glaze to the exterior a rhombic pattern of in orange and yellow with “volcanic” effects, and a glossy glaze to the interior. Aldo Londi was the artistic leader of Bitossi, the renowned Italian ceramic company. Marked 3030/537 and Italy. Height "7/ 18 cm. Condition: a few glaze flakes to the mouth rim (cf. pics).

A vintage sterling silver Caddy spoon by William Spratling with a lightly hammered finish and shovel design. This spoon is from the first design period.

Measures 3 5/8" long and 1 1/2" across. Dates from before 1946. Marked with the script 'WS' surrounded by Spratling Made in Mexico, and Spratling Silver. Marks show some wear. Has minor wear to the surface appropriate to the age, some tarnish and surface scratches.

Wonderful folk art box of a pyramid that opens to reveal sections to hold cigarettes and matches. The entire surface is inlaid with square or rectangular pieces of wood in varying shades of brown and beige. It measures 5 1/2" high and is 9 3/8" square, sitting on 4 geometric feet. Surface appears to have a light varnish coating. The form is a copy of the pyramid at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan Peninsula...

Fiesta Green Skirted Wide Bowl measures 12.5" diameter and about 3.5" high. They call this form a comport. Made from 1936-46 in the original green color.

This porcelain covered box was produced in Germany by Meissen in the mid 20th century. Is has a diameter of 3 1/2 inches and is 2 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is the finest quality ever made. It is beautifully hand painted with a spray of colorful and realistic flowers. There are sprigs of flowers dotting the lower half of the box. The rims are trimmed with heavy gilding. Condition: Excellent. This is a first quality piece.

Rare sterling silver ice tongs in Kirk’s popular “Old Maryland Plain” pattern. This pattern, designed in 1850, is one of the oldest patterns in Baltimore silver. Because it is so simple, it can appear both Colonial or contemporary, and works well with nearly any silver pattern. The tongs are marked with later 20th century Kirk hallmarks.

This porcelain figurine was produced in Germany by Rosenthal in 1946. It is 10 1/2 inches long and 4 3/4 inches high. The dog is well proportioned according to its breed. He is pointing in the heat of the hunt. Rosenthal artists depict dogs at their best. Condition: Excellent
