Superb in every way; form, glaze, condition. This is a monumental and important vase by Berndt Friberg for Gustavsberg. It measures 15 1/2" (39.5cm). On the underside is incised Friberg, the Gustavsberg hand insignia, and the date code C. This masterpiece was created in 1961.

A genuine and vintage 4-3/4" diameter matte glaze small bowl or plant pot by Rookwood. This bowl has the pattern number 2158 and the year cipher for 1920 and it depicts leaping rabbits around the border. It is in a lovely dusty rose colour with green highlights on the decorated upper portion. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, deposits or residue, losses, damage or repairs other than a few rust coloured small rings on the interior...

Mid-Century Mexican silver six-candle candelabra. Unique design and high-quality construction. Excellently hand wrought and very rare. It measures approximately 20.5" long and 9" tall. Each candle holder portion measures 2.75" in diameter, and the base is 6" in diameter. The base is marked "ORTEGA" "925". It has also an Eagle 8 mark and a serial number of "39637". It is in impeccable condition and weighs approximately 4.6 lbs.

Czech Artist Joseph M. Kratina 1872-1953, a beautiful and historic George Washington Bicentennial Gilded Bronze Plaque measuring 22x17” dates 1732-1932 Mr Kratina, was born in Prague and studied at L’Ecole des Beaux-Arts, and the Académie Julian in Paris, after becoming a sculptor and also a teacher.

Three piece sterling silver and rosewood tea set by Tango Aceves circa 1950. The teapot measures approximately 6.75" tall and approximately 5" in diameter. The handle is 4" long. It weighs approximately 1.5 lbs. The tea cup is an elegantly simple round bowl measuring 3.5" in diameter by 1.75" deep. It weighs 103.3 grams. The creamer measures 3.5" in diameter with a .75" spout. The handle is 2.75" long. It weighs 148.4 grams.

A superb example of modern glass design by Anzolo Fuga for AVEM. A very similar vessel is documented in Rosa Barovier Menstasi's book, ANZOLO FUGA, in the"Multicolor Rods and Murrine" section, page 61. This vessel has the same murrine and colored rod as pictured in the book, with a more slender neck that exudes elegance. This exceptional modern vessel is is 17.75" tall and is excellent condition.

Superb Murano glass figurines by Alfredo Barbini. A colleague in Venice who is a dealer in Vintage Murano Glass told me he witnessed these figurines being made at the Barbini factory in the 1950's. They are in good condition: the red coated Moor at 10" tall is in pristine condition and the white suited one at 13.5" has a repair at the rear neck area which is not so apparent...

This attractive grouping of Murano glass vessels and lamp by Ercole Barovier should stay together and is available as a group at a reduced rate. If purchased as a group, the cost is $2300, realizing a saving of $1000 for the astute buyer. The Cordonato Oro design by Ercole Barovier was exhibited at the Venice Biennale in 1950, and in 1951, at the Angelicum in Milan...

Beautiful five-piece sterling tea set consisting of coffee pot, tea pot, sugar, creamer and tray. The tray is wood with a sterling band around it. Like a Venice evening, this amazing murrine lamp rediates a soft, colorful ambiance when lit. The brass parts have a nice aged patina. The lamp had to be re-wired, as the original 90 year old vintage wire was frayed. Otherwise, the lamp remains in its original pristine condition and is an amazing example of the skill of the Murano Glassblowers. The lamp is documented in "Catalogo a stampa Fratelli Toso, 1920 ca",page 41.

A fine bronze of the Greek god Hermes as a shepherd carrying a lamb. The young shepherd is walking barefoot, wearing an animal skin coat and cap, carrying a young lamb most likely wayward in its wanderings. Circa 1949-1955, this is a very rare Hector Aguilar coffee / tea pot.

I can't find another identical to this. Absolutely collector quality. His signature square handle has two wood inserts. Lid is hinged, spout is curved, and the design is magnificent. No repairs, no dents, dings, dimples. Hinge is strong and perfect.

Weight on this is 33.22 troy ounces, 1,033 grams, so over 2 lbs.
