An antique Japanese Meiji period solid silver picture frame circa 1880-1900. This antique 5-1/2" x 3-1/2" frame has a bamboo pattern with a patterned ground; it has a textured snakeskin design paper over wood backing that originally had a support foot for standing up the frame. That is now missing and replaced with a wire so it can be hung on the wall. The frame front has copper round-head nails. It retains the original patterned backing paper and glass window...

From 1712, when the imperial armory in the town of Tula, south of Moscow, was founded by Peter the Great (r. 1682–1725), the master armorers regularly enjoyed imperial patronage.[1] During the reign of Empress Elizabeth (1741–61), they began to produce a sideline of cut-steel decorative items and furniture now known as Tula ware. These were richly and elaborately worked using many different techniques in addition to the faceting that gives them their characteristic diamond-like sparkle...

Daum Nancy signature acid etched on flared rim base,French Art Deco 1923 art glass vase in amber color, amphora shape measuring 15.5“ x 6“ in beautiful condition very rare.

Pair of decorative leather bound bookends with brass accents. Silver tone metal mounts of a Griffon accent the brass; gold tone stitching accents the rich brown leather. Bears logo of Mark Cross in gold on the bottom of each piece. The bookends measure 6.5 inches (16.5 cm) tall, 5.5 inches (14 cm) deep and 6.25 inches (15.9 cm) wide. Some scuffs and marks from use, but no rips or tears to the leather, nor dents to the metal. Circa 1960.

A nice vintage leather box embossed “Studs” on the top. Most of these boxes are round, but this example is a much more uncommon horseshoe, the lid also embossed with a horseshoe. These boxes were original intended to store shirt studs or cufflinks, but can be used for any variety of gentleman’s accessories.

Origin: probably England, ca. 1950. Condition: excellent. Dimensions: 2-1/2” x 2-3/4” x 1-3/16.

This box measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" x 2 3/4". The top has a beautiful design with a bezel-set, green / turquoise, bezel set stone "handle." The top is sterling silver. The base is copper with a wooden inlay. The inside of the top is marked STERLING S & E for Sweetser Manufacturing Co. The bottom of the copper base is also marked S & E (with the company's hallmark) numbered 19928. It has a monogram I cannot decipher (which, of course, can be removed by any jeweler)...

This is a pretty robins egg blue and gold enameled brass compact-shaped hinged double picture frame. The cover depicting a gold butterfly over a leafy branch. When open it holds two vintage pictures Measurements: 3" square closed. Excellent condition; may need cleaning.

A rare carved bone abacus with integral reverse glass painting depicting four boys, in a garden setting, peering into a large fish bowl. There is an added inscritpion carved into one side recording that this item was given as a gift in Hong Kong in 1953. Condition; very good - no damages or losses. 11.5cm (4.5 inches) long; 5.5cm (2.2 inches) wide; 1.5cm deep.

A brilliant red transparent lucite jewelry box or dresser box, the hinged lid inset with a sterling silver medallion illustrating a pair of lovebirds. The interior of the lid has a small round mirror. The medallion is stamped "Sterling" and has a design patent number registered in 1945.

An exceptional pair of near perfect condition Art Deco design and period 'Gueridon' form side tables. The tables with circular tops 27.5 inches in diameter, 28 inches high. Lower shelf 17 inches in diameter and elevated 8 inches from floor. Table top composition consists of eight pie shaped quarter sawn burl maple veneer pieces which center an ebony bulls eye.
