From our Fine Arts and Americana Collection, a nice set of vintage American nightstands dating from the 1950's, constructed of solid hardwood with Carpathian Elm burl veneers.

Not much is known about the Bethlehem Furniture Manufacturing Corp. of Red Lion Pennsylvania that crafted this set, but they were apparently a small niche manufacturer active from the late 19th century up until the mid 20th century...

Tall Chinese hardwood cabinet in two sections, elaborately carved all over with scenes of eight dragons in light color wood on dark hardwood ground carved with swirling clouds, rocks and waves. The sides of the cabinet are also made of dark hardwood and carved with scrolling key fret motif. Brass hardware is incised with matching key fret and chimera designs. c. 1950. Total size: 86 " high x 35 1/4" wide x 15 3/4" deep (bottom section is 66 1/2" high. top section is 19 1/2" high)

A beautiful camphor wood cabinet from China with fine carving and drawers/nice metal decor-fixtures. The main cabinet has 2 doors which slide inward along the sides for a computer, screen or TV etc. and the back side has a sliding wooden opening for electrical cables etc. Very nice condition, free standing, size: H. 178cm x W. 97 cm. x D. 66 cm. French carved wood foot stool or foot rest, 6 1/2" high, 13 1/2" wide x 9" wide, brocaded silk fabric upholstered top, some thin space between joint but all the joints are tight together.
