This rust colored copper oxide monochrome has a gorgeous tea dust glaze. A chinese scholar's object used for collecting, this beautiful porcelain monochrome is a wonderful decorative piece as well as a small flower vase. A pair of elegant small mirror image Chinese famille rose garlic mouth bottle vases each decorated with a design of bands of stylized flower shapes at the mouth over a ruyi head border. The sides of the vases painted with luscious peony blooms on which two exotic birds perch, all over rockwork and key pattern band.

Of quatrelobed form with a central vertical panel on each side. One side is marked "zhai jie", the other in Manchu script. Bordered with a dense design of stylised lotus on a light green ground within raised gilt borders. The sides painted with scrolling foliage on a white ground with a bottom hole for a string of beads.

Condition: Very good, some slight wear to the enamels

Chinese antique doucai porcelain cup, stand and lid. The interior of the bowl and the lid left plain. The base of the bowl and the stand contains a six character Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue surrounded by a double circle, also in underglaze blue.

Condition is very good, no breaks or cracks. Some minor wear to the enamels.

Large Chinese baluster vase done in tones of under-glaze blue. The scene on this vase goes all round it and is done between multiple layers of borders. The main scene is all plants and trees.

The inside is thinly glazed. The base rim is unglazed, as well as the base. From the pictures it looks rough, but it is quite smooth.

The condition of this vase is very good. There are some places on the top rim where the glaze has skipped over...

Porcelain polychrome statue of the noted sage, Liu Hai. Liu Hai was the noted 10th century alchemist who learned the secret of immortality from the three legged frog, Jin chan (Chan chu). The frog is known for beckoning wealth. Later, in China and Japan, the combination of Liu Hai and the frog became the symbol of fortune and wealth. A pair of Chinese Blanc de Chine figures of recumbent females, each lying on a large lotus leaf on a rock bed and with partial crackle. Their left hands are raised gently supporting their heads and in their right hands, laying by their side they are clasping the ties of their robes. These figures have very small differences between them.

Vintage pair of Chinese porcelain fu-dogs. Sculpted with a sense of whimsy and great detail, one fu-dog crouches with his elaborately swirling tail in the air, the other lays on her belly. Though their other name, shishi, suggests their lion-like qualities, this pair with their long flapping ears have a more dog-like appearance. Glazed with a lovely translucent blue crackle glaze with wide black glazed eyes. Minor losses.

Chinese antique porcelain brush container with unusually detailed scenes skillfully incised into each of its four sides. These pictorial reserves show figures in various scholarly pursuits including the study of written texts, scroll painting, playing music and board games, all in garden settings with various trees and vertical rock formations. The body of the container stands on four small corner feet. Glazed a turquoise blue and incised with a Qianlong mark (1735-1796).

Thinly potted and incised with 8 boys around a fence under overhanging trees in leisure in green enamel between a top and a lower border. The inside glazed with yellow and left bare. The base rim round, smooth and left unglazed with the base covered in the same yellow glaze with a six character under-glaze Yongzheng blue mark surrounded by double under-glaze circles.

A Chinese Blanc de Chine Lotus bowl made in the Dehua kilns. The deep rounded sides naturalistically modelled in the form of a lotus leaf, elegantly rising to a rim with furled edges. The interior of the lotus blooms lightly incised with veins. The exterior with sprigs of flowering and budding lotus, leaves and arrowheads rising above the lobed rim, all covered in a white glaze.
