Japanese Dragon decorated Lacquer and crushed Egg shell inlaid Document Box, 2 7/8" high, 11 3/4" wide 4" deep, with copper color metal hinges, lock box with key hole in front. Some lacquer losses are all around, eggshell decorated dragon is looking upward towards Mt. Fuji. The condition is fair, shows some lacquer losses.
Netsuke carved by Ryoshu (born in 1912) - one of the best Japanese netsuke carvers of the 20th century. Netsuke represents a doll of Daruma (founder of Zen Buddhism) enveloped in monastic robe, and his eyes can pop in and out. Perfectly captured facial expression, facial hair and mandarin duck decoration on his robe beautifully incised and etched with ink. It appears that the artist etched a different design on every piece of this model of his - see the other Darumas by Ryoshu on my site...
A square cover or shawl made of shiny purple silk beautifully embroidered with birds, flowers, butterflies and tendrils. The long fringes multi-colored. With light blue silk lining. Condition: fine, lining with one hole. Dimension without fringes: 151 cm x 151 cm.

Japanese E. to Mid 20th century bronze vase by IPPOU. The vase has the design of various sea life creatures, such as octopus and a variety of fish done in fine design and detail. Signed IPPOU on bottom. The vase measures 8 3/4" tall and 5 1.2" in diameter.
Chinese porcelain baluster vase painted in late 'famille rose' style on a white ground with a group of Immortals resting in a landscape. The base glazed white with a six character Jiaqing mark in iron red and of the period.

Age: Jiaqing (1796-1821)
Condition: There is a gash in the top rim extending approximately 1". A restorer can repair this vase at minimal cost.
Chinese cloisonne horse decorated with archaic geometric designs often seen in Chinese bronzes from the Republic period with motifs of chrysanthemums and phoenixes. The saddle is decorated with a scrolling vine design with chrysanthemums recalling central Asian motifs. The bridle is decorated with small plum blossoms. Age: 20th century. Chinese thinly potted famille-rose enamelled vase on a lime green graviata ground with five figures in different poses surrounding. The top rim is edged in gilt. The inside and the base are glazed in turquoise blue. The base has a four character mark in iron red surrounded by a single iron red square border.
Size is 10-1/8" high by 7-7/8" diameter
Condition: The gilt edging at the top rim is worn in places and there are some frits. The enamels show some minor wear.
