A large and very rare Chinese wedding purse, this unique purse displays colorful Peking forbidden stitch done in patterns displaying various treasures. The inside is of a subtle lavender, while the outside is creme colored with slightly raise geometric designs. This clearly dates it to the early 20's. A Chinese underglaze-blue painted porcelain ewer and cover. The spout with six-character Ming Dynasty Xuande mark. The inside glazed white, the base glazed with a blue tint. The body of the ewer finely painted all over with lotus flowers, scrolls, leaves and fruits.

A small Japanese porcelain jar and dish with the Fuji Mountain Fukagawa mark and the N.Y.K Steam Ship Line mark. Such jars and dishes were given to passengers as a voyage souvenir. The jar measures 3" high x 2 1/2" in diameter, and the dish measures 5 1/2" in diameter. Both pieces date to the early 20th Century. Condition: The condition is excellent/perfect. The vintage Chinese blue and white bowl is decorated with two dragons and clouds, symmetrically opposite with the flaming pearl between the two dragons. The base of the bowl is a double circular ring which represents eternity.
