A delicately painted Satsuma pottery jar with two courtyard scenes of daily life for the Japanese elite.
The rest of the jar features a complex ground of various patterns. There has been a professional repair to the vase lip, but otherwise excellent. Measures 6 inches high with lid. Signed on bottom.
DESCRIPTION: An appealing green nephrite disk or bi, carved with two chilong dragons whose heads and bodies ring the edges with their limbs draping down on either side. From a mid-west collection, the design, color and form are quite pleasing and could be used as a toggle or an eye-catching pendant when incorporated into a necklace. DIMENSIONS: 2 5/8” diameter (6 cm), 2.25 oz. (64g) weight.

The size of Kamakura-bori Deep Kashi Bowl: 10 3/4"Dia x 1 3/4" High. About 5/8" Thickness. This is prettiest of Kamakura-bori Kashi Bowl ever seen. The bowl is from Showa 13 th, 1938, 76 years old. It is dated on the back as 1938, April 18th. It has beautiful carved design of Ebisu and Daikoku design with Hoju (treasures). Two are from Shichifukujin (seven lucky Gods.). Antique Chinese Brown Glazed Han Dynasty style pots probably Tang Dynasty .
A unique pair of mini pots in the style of the classic Han dynasty shaped green glazed burial urns. These have a rim band inscription as well as a design at the shoulder the foot is glazed with spur marks in what appears to be a Tang brown glaze. Size 2.75" by 1.75" Period unknown may be Tang period.
