Nicely carved Chinese agate group showing two birds on a rock with flowers. Dating to mid 20th century. With matching wooden stand. Condition: base of the carving with a tiny flake (not visible), right bird's beak with a tiny chip (see photo No. 11). Dimension: carving: c. 10.8 cm high x 13.5 cm long x 4 cm deep, height with stand: 14.2 cm.

This blouse is from Thailand and made for use by a Karen Hilltribe woman. First the fabric was hand woven from cotton fibers. Next the surface was lower half was elaborately decorated with cotton thread embroidery and tiny sea urchin shells using a geometric pattern. Then it was whip stitched into the form of a blouse using white cotton thread. This garment makes a wonderful display piece and can also be worn for special occassions. 23 inches across and 27 inches long.

A pair of Japanese Kutani sake cups with scalloped rims and enameled decoration of Phoenix birds, Paulownia leaves and the Tokugawa mon or crest, the interior with auspicious symbols. The Tokugawa clan reigned Japan as Shoguns from 1603 to 1867. Kutani Fuku (happiness)mark in iron red, a mark in use during the Tokugawa period. Height "1 2/3 / 4.2 cm. Condition: each with a short hairline from the rim.

Chinese Natural Agate Original Stone Necklace. Size; Length of necklace is 760 (mm) or 30 inches with total weight of 0.08 lbs/38 grams. Agate is a kind of mineral in chalcedony class and is often mixed with grain belt of the block Opal and cryptocrystalline quartz, Mohs hardness of 7, the density of 2.6-2.7 grams per cubic centimeter, a level of color ranges from translucent to opaque.

Newer Japanese bridal hair ornaments with roses and chrysanthemums. The butterflies on the chrysanthemums are attached with springs and are pretty flimsy; there are crawling snails on the rose leaves. Beautifully detailed as you can see. Your hair may look little too busy if you are to wear these all at once unless you have a huge dimensional hairdo as they used to (or they still do for the special occasions) back in Japan...

This is an early Ming Kuo or early Chinese Republic (1912-1950) very fine blue and white vase. The paintings show that of blessing and abundance, such as chrysthenthnum, peony lotus, prunus flowers. In addition there are drawing of ruyi head, ying and yang sign, peaches etc... On the base of the vase, it bears the mark of the private kiln or manufacturer.

The vase is in very good condition. No hairline crack, no chip or crack, no glaze fritting or repair and restoration...

A Chinese porcelain 'famille rose' jar, finely painted with flowering peony vignettes and fruits on a white ground. The inside glazed white, as well as the base with the base rim and the exterior neck left unglazed. No markings. This is a very nice heavy jar.

Winnowing basket called "箕（mi)"which is used by farmers to eliminate or blow out unnecessary stuffs. It is made of bamboo and covered with washi and painted with kakishibu (persimmon tannin). Bamboo mi is made in rather warmer region and bast of trees are made in colder region, however, it is not clear when these ones are made. Generally, in good condition but have some minor breaks or rips. 20th century. W:45cm to 43cm, L:36.5cm to 34cm. Possible to sell one piece for $40.

Dressed in full robes and with his down turned hands at this sides demonstrating the Calling in the Rain mudra, a gesture to bring the rain to nourish the rice fields. Gorgeous vintage pottery replica of a sui dynasty tomb horse. Horse has a commanding and powerful presence as if going off to battle in a fiery. Standing on a rectangular base, with three legs planted, and one slightly lifted, giving motion and life to the piece. The face and body are both fierce and expressive yet modeling a poised and elegant arched neck. The overall look of the horse is extremely pleasing to the eye and decorative.

This tradition style childs collar of the Dong minority was handmade by the mother or grandmother. The fabric was cut from fragments of handwoven cloth stitched together. The embroidery is an intricate cross stitch pattern...It was used (probably for several generals of children) and is a bit dirty...no rips no tears.

Kokeshi, wooden folk toy of NE Japan. Height: 7". This is an example of "Goroujou" tradition of Iwate Prefecture. It is also a rare example of extant pre-WWII kokeshi. It was made at Yumoto Onsen by the artisan, Fujiwara Masagoro, who was born in Meiji 16 (1883!) and passed away at the age of 64 on June 12th, 1947 (Showa 22.) This very nicely molded mid 20th century Guan-Yin statue is 9 5/8” high, 5 ¼” wide and 2 ½” thick. It depicts Guan-Yin holding a Ruyi seated on a lotus surrounded rock. A basket containing fish sits on her left side and three fish hold her right sleeve. The artist’s seal is on the back of her robe. Aside from a small chip from a fish tail, it is in great condition.

Antique Japanese Doll by Kyoko: Dancing Sanbaso Ningyo Doll. This gorgeous doll with a face of Ichimatsu ningyo (doll) is approximately 18 inches tall on a 3/4 inch stand. The dimension of the stand is 13 inches x 10 inches x 3/4 inches. The crane is hand painted on the fabric. There are some fabric damages on the left side of her upper kimono (cloth) as shown.
