Very nice Garuda bronze figure large and very well cast and extensive tooled details. The sculpture has a mounting hole behind the nagas and a hole in the back base for mounting to an altar top. Late Qing Dynasty to Republic period (1900s to 1930s) Chinese porcelain covered round box for seal paste with underglaze blue painting of a phoenix in flight among wispy clouds. Excellent quality freehand painting with beautiful washes, in superb condition, was never used, I guess. Four seal style character mark on the bottom. Very quiet subtle piece for scholar’s desk. Diameter 2 1/2 inches.

A republic or Qing dynasty style brushwasher, globular body and unglazed base, possibly products of 1920s or earlier. Brush washer is in good condition no chip. no crack, no restoration except some scratches. It is scholar table object de art, nice collection piece in any chinese or japanese art collection.
