Pair of Chinese "Seven Sages" bamboo brush pots, bitong. Both deeply carved to the front depicting the Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove. No markings.

Condition: Good, there is some cracking of the bamboo which is expected. On a couple of the pictures I have lightened them up to show the insides and the bases.
Large antique oval Chinese platter or charger with a scalloped rim with a Bianco-sopra-bianco design of flowering stems and a butterfly overhead on a clair de lune glaze ground. The base is unglazed. Made for the export European market.

Unique Chinese yixing teapot with rondels of marbled clay surrounding the teapot and on the cover. The spout and the handle are modelled in a bamboo design with a pig finial on the lid. There is a four character impressed mark on the base, as well as a different four character impressed mark on the underside of the lid.
Age: Purchased as an antique teapot. Actual age is not known

A Chinese moon or flask vase painted in qianjiang style. One side of the vase shows a valley scene with mountains in the background with a man. There is a iron red seal and black writing at the top. The reverse side shows two swallows on a willow branch, again with a red seal and further writing. The vase is completed with a pair of qilong handles...
A carved and decorated Nigerian mother with child on her back, early 20th. century.
Artful style depicting a mother in a kneeling position, holding an offering bowl, with her child strapped on her back. The image, on a rounded base, is carved from a single piece of light wood. The figure has an oval head and bulging almond eyes with prominent, eyelids. The nose is flared and the lips full and sensual. Six vertical scarifications are on both cheeks...

Pair of of Chinese antique spinach green jade plaques. Each is hand carved with a scene of bamboo and another flowering plant with butterflies overhead, all within an incised circle border. Gilt highlights the incised design of both. The reverse of each has been left bare. The stands are later.

Beautiful Hindu marble altar figure of Rama , losses as seen in the picture as is usual with 18- 19th c temple-shrine figures. Some mortar from mounting to altar top . Rare quality piece.

Japanese Meiji Mixed Metal Vase with flowers and Birds the vase has inlay copper silver and gold as well as leaf and overlay, a fine piece with a few issues one is it has been drilled for a lamp and one handle was loose from the peg hole but now superglued back and fits tight. Beautiful piece even with flaws very heavy as well. Weight is almost 6 pounds h 9.75" diameter 6" not including wood base.

The vintage Chinese blue and white bowl is decorated with two dragons and clouds, symmetrically opposite with the flaming pearl between the two dragons. The base of the bowl is a double circular ring which represents eternity.
The Kintsugi repairs to the bowl adds a dimension that brings it to life...
