This dark brown jar is very old and in great condition. It was produced in the Liao dynasty (907–1125).

Japanese Red Lacquer Sake Dish, Meiji period, Ca. 1900, 6 1/4" diameter, 1 1/2" high, representing Japanese Makie Lacquer techniques used, Gold Castle, Silver Lacquered wall, trees and Mountains with peaceful fishing boat in the lake. This Sake Dish is "as is" small chip on top, two(2) areas on the side restored, please see photos.

19th century good size agate ojime (slide bead for tightening the cord going from netsuke to inro) in ball shape with beautiful play of natural agate colors. Nice surface, very pleasant patina. Diameter 0.98 inches.

Of flattened baluster shape with a waisted neck supported on a carved foot with golden natural inclusions. The body of the bottle is carved with a relief dragon motif all around.

Antique Tibetan cabinet with 2 large compartments. The entire front of the cabinet is decorated in kyungbur technique (designs and pictures painted in raised lines of a gesso and resin mixture) on a deep red ground. Two large compartments are covered by 8 large panels decorated with phoenixes in medallions of scrolling vines and flowers. The middle four panels open to the compartments. 19th century netsuke of a sitting boy holding a turtle with one hand, and trying to break its shell with a stone that he holds in the other. Unusual subject, strong early carving, wonderful wear consistent with age, beautiful patina with yellowing on the back, where netsuke was touching silk of the kimono. Nice textile patterns, Height 1.41 inches.

A pair of Japanese Kutani sake cups with scalloped rims and enameled decoration of Phoenix birds, Paulownia leaves and the Tokugawa mon or crest, the interior with auspicious symbols. The Tokugawa clan reigned Japan as Shoguns from 1603 to 1867. Kutani Fuku (happiness)mark in iron red, a mark in use during the Tokugawa period. Height "1 2/3 / 4.2 cm. Chinese Ming Dynasty lacquered bronze amphora type vase with Dragon Headed handles, of small scale this wonderful little vase was finely cast down to the detail of the dragon faces on the handles, a geometric pattern above the foot. The vase has a very early Lacquer plug repair on the base. Size 3.5" by 2.5"

Width approximately 18 cm (across the handles). In good condition.
