A set of four fans (uchiwa) made of bamboo and washi (Japanese hand-made paper). Each has hand-painted pictures and signs such as three kabuki "kumadori" which is special makeup of the kabuki player and Otahuku. All have the same written seal marks, however the name of the artist is not clear. Two are painted with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) 20th century. In excellent condition. W:30.5cm H:35.5cm
Save 10% today... This beautiful vaseline and cobalt wine stem is quite eye-catching. The goblet size bowl features an incredibly vibrant vaseline color with hints of green. It is blown, rib optic glass with subtle curves extending to the cut and finished rim. The stem is a deep, royal cobalt blue with a twist, attached to the blown and finished foot, and the yellow bowls. It stands 6 1/4" tall is in excellent, unused condition. I have searched to find the maker, but no luck so far...

A small beaker vase by Danish designer Just Andersen (1884-1943). Of flaring form, the simplicity of the shape accentuated by stripes near mouth and foot-rim. Marks: Just, GAB (a Swedish company for which Just Andersen worked from c 1930), model number 1162 and 1931 for the year. Height "2/ 5 cm. Condition: fine.
Small silver bow earrings by Karl Erik Palmberg for Alton, renown makers of Swedish modernist jewelry. KEP was Alton’s chief designer. Width "1/2 / 14 mm. Marks: KP, F for the town of Falköping where Alton was based, the Swedish hallmark (three crowns and S) and year mark X8 for 1948. Condition: fine.

American needlework sampler I would date to about 1935-1950, hand embroidered in traditional style, silk thread on cotton, the imagery of a house and tree, the sweet message being "Here let us live Life at its Best/ Here my we find/ Comfort and Rest". No glass, good vintage condition, some faint old very light brownish staining to background.
These 8 old Ivory napkin rings may have originally been made for tourist souvenirs. They have hand painted/dyed images of landscapes boats ets...Each has a different Chinese calligraphy saying of well wishing...

Hex Optic is one of the earlier depression patterns. It was made by Jeannette Glass from 1928 to 1932 and used extensively in their kitchenware lines. Offered here is the ice bucket in green in excellent condition. This version has the pour spout so that a reamer can be inserted and the bucket serves double duty. it comes with the original metal handle & serving tongs. Orange Fukusa, Japanese gift cover from mid Showa, 1930 to 1960. Some color loss but in excellent condition otherwise, no damage, stains or tear. The photos shows it little newer than actual. 19 1/8" W x 20 3/4" L

Bottle shaped, decorated with hand painted flowers and borders in olive green and black, pink, brown and blue against a cream-coloured background. Height "5/ 12,5 cm. Condition: firing crack to the foot rimof one vase, otherwise fine (cf pictures).
Dancing Nymph is the correct name for this Consolidated pattern - it's sometimes called "Dance of the Nudes" due to listings in depression glass books under that name. Made in 1928, it's a wonderful pattern for the deco collector as well as glass lovers. This is the footed sherbet in crystal. Perfect condition. I have 3 available, price is per sherbet.
