This is Japanese Indigo dye Stripe and weave beautiful hitoe kimono textile from the Taisho era to the Showa era(1910-1950). The material is silk and cotton. It does not have a stain and damage. It is in a very good state. size:140cm x 120cm(55.1" x 47.2)

This is a root carving shaped to resemble a qilin, which is a Chinese mythological creature.

Chinese square vase painted on two faces with scholars and their attendants beneath trees, and with texts on the other two faces. Glazed all over on a white ground with the exception of the base rim.

Size: 16-1/4" high by 4-3/4" depth by 6-1/4" width

Condition: Good condition, no breaks and/or noticeable cracks

An early and rarely seen design not listed in Crows, Cranes and Camellias: The Natural World of Ohara Koson (Reigle Newland). The design is similar to K13.3 (Eagle on leafless tree) in the above catalog.

An early carved jade dish that shows minor wear and two internal flaws. There are very small chips on the tips of two leaves and in the corner area (please see photos). Inscribed CHINA on the back. Etched gilt brass frame.

From our African Collection: A Nok Terracotta Figure, 18" w, 50" h. The small head is 3 x 4". Nok refers to the culture associated with a one hundred square kilometer area in central Nigeria where thousands of terracotta figures were found. These figures were first encountered in tin mines by Colonel J. Dent Young in 1928 and were classified as Nok by Bernard Fagg in 1943...

Victorian crazy quilt made of shiny fabrics and velvet with black stitching of various shapes and sizes measuring 63"long by 21"wide. Backed in shiny floral fabric. Excellent condition except for one tear and piece missing in two places. Very colorful.....$75 for insured USA shipping.

Thinly potted with a branching stem bearing graceful leaves that frame a large peony blossom on the central stem, all with delicately combed details below a line border,.

The bowl covered all over in a warm olive-green glaze. The back of the bowl left bare with a single line upper border, resting on a short base.

This depression glass cup & saucer set is the Newport or Hairpin pattern. Made by Hazel Atlas during the 1930's, the color is amethyst, though Hazel Atlas called it 'Burgundy' in the original ads. A JG Graves Sheffield sterling silver swing-out key pocket watch 1902. This English sterling silver key wind cased pocket watch is by JG Graves of Sheffield, England. Graves (1866-1945) was a watchmaker, entepreneur and benefactor, and this watch is hallmarked for Chester 1902, with the swing-out case having the Graves maker's mark. The watch is 2" across and the works measure 1-9/16" across the plate. They are inscribed J.G. GRAVES SHEFFIELD REVERSING PINION No688375...

19th Century Chinese Hardwood grain measuring Bucket with Brass trim and incised "Kuang Hsu" Emperor's mark on the side, made for celebration event, late 1800's, 5 5/8" high, 9" square-top, 9 1/4" square-bottom, top has brass mounted handle in the center as well as bottom corners. It is heavy weight made out of Rosewood, has two(2) cracks on the bottom.
