A good bronze footed trumpet vase by Carl Sorensen. The surface is patinated in a dark mottled green and is enhanced with parallel engraved lines forming bands decorated in a darker green patination. The small foot makes this one of Sorensen's more unusual vase designs. Sorensen made a variety of decorative metalwares, but little is known about him. He worked in Pennsylvania, and his pieces were possibly sold by Roycroft and Tiffany...

Royal Danish sterling silver sauce bowl on stand. Made by International in Meriden, Conn. Ovoid bowl with tapering sides and short inset foot. Stand has oval well and wide and tapering sides. At ends are open and embossed acorns and scrolls. Fully marked including maker’s stamp, pattern name, and nos. G23/2 (bowl) and G39 (stand). Very good condition.

1950's Chinese Silver Filigree Sword Horn Handle with Coral & Turquoise & Lapis Carved Bead Inlay

The sword is 29.1 inches (74 cm) in length by 3.74 inches (9.5 cm) wide. The blade is 19.3 inches (49 cm) in length by 0.67 inch (1.7 cm) wide. It is is 907 gram.

It is tarnished and has cracks at the handle and rust at the blade and missing beads and surface wears and scratches (as seen in the photos).

Japanese Meiji Copper or bronze on metal trinket or stash box, the lid with a formal geisha and a dog playing with a ball . The background there is mountains with pagodas the sides have flying birds with landscapes. The box has wear as seen in images. These are usually listed as bronze or copper but they are copper or bronze over a heavy metal base. Size almost 2.5" w by 1.75" d by 1" high

Cast iron boot scrape in the form of a Scottie in its original blue paint. The two long spikes that hold the boot scrape in the ground are marked "Copyrighted 1927 By Household Patent Co. Morristown, PA." The company made a variety of metal products such as weather vanes and boot scrapes. Excellent condition; about 5% paint loss; the back side has remnants of old fabric-based adhesive tape that could be removed. 10" wide; 15.5" tall.

This is a really pretty pair of Ruby Flashed Wakefield, aka Waterford, 5 1/2 inch high single Candle Holders made by Westmoreland Glass. These Candle Holders are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. The ruby flashing is all very good. Part of the original Westmoreland label is still attached. Fine and rare four paneled skirt, from the Meifu subgroup of the Li people, Hainan Island, circa mid 20th century. These kinds of textiles are unique among Chinese minority weavings as they combine supplementary weft brocade and tie dye ikat techniques. The colored threads in the brocaded panel are polyester and commercial white thread while the rest of the skirt is hand spun cotton and indigo. There is some minor even fraying at the bottom and a few negligible small holes...

This pair of French leather Club Chairs are quite unusual, They have kind of a Deco meets Streamline feel. They have fixed cushion that are quite firm, but still comfortable. They are circa 1940's.

Japanese glass ojime in a form of tombodama bead with white core and two birds on a long branch with leaves and flowers. Tombodama can be translated as “dragonfly ball” and the name is thought to come about because when the molten glass is applied to the core bead it resembles a dragonfly’s eye. Superbly made piece - see the individual petals and leaves, in perfect condition. Height 3/4 inches.
