George VI sterling silver salver. Made by Mappin & Webb in Sheffield in 1945. Molded curvilinear rim with ogee arches. Three hoof supports. Large and heavy in traditional Georgian form. Fully marked. Excellent condition.

Pair of pre-war Art Deco era side stands. Heavy, solid wood with burl wood overlay. Each stand has a drawer with an open display shelf just below. The lower portion of each stand makes an artful curve into another open shelf. Great condition with excellent burl wood figuring.

Rare sterling silver punch ladle. Made by Spratling in Taxco, Mexico. Round hand-hammered bowl with curved spout. Mount has tooled bands and applied rope band and is inset with tapering stained-wood handle. An early piece by this maker. 1940s marks. Very good condition with beautiful patina.

Pair of Japanese Meiji wood block printed Ukiyoe Books , wonderful printing each book has a double color cover. Each signed in fairly good condition for the age. We used the Samurai cover to make a line of greeting cards one is included in sale. 7 by 4.35" the book with the Geisha has worm damage through cover.

A nice set of three carvings in emerald, incl. bird bear paw with claws and Parrot / bird Fetish, Native American, probably Zuni, Navaho tribe and 20th. century (3).
The carvings are cut and polished in one emerald stone in transperant light blue-green colours, very attractive small animals.
Zuni fetishes are small carvings made from primarily stone but also shell, fossils, and other materials by the Zuni people...
Solidly potted Japanese Mashiko stoneware teardrop form vase covered overall in a green drip glaze over a brown ground that ends at the unglazed base. The base holds an unidentified impressed potter’s seal. Mid-20th century. 7 3/8” high by about 7” diameter; weighs about 3 lbs. Very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. This vase is from the collection of a Green Valley, Arizona couple who were expatriates to Japan in the 1960s and 1970s...

A French Art Deco cocktail pick set in the unusual form of a large snail accompanied by a pair of baby snails. The snail is usually alone or perhaps with just one smaller one. They are worked in chrome and are set on a mahogany base. The design is by the famed French Art Deco illustrator Benjamin Rabier, who had a side jpb designing entertaining barware.
