A pair of Murano glass blue bottles or decanters with gold flecks and flame stoppers, made by Alfredo Barbini, around 1950. Each bottle is 20 1/2 inches (52 cm) tall and 4 1/4 inches (10,5 cm) wide. Large Widekum mask, of typical form, carved in relief, with an unusual cap, pointed scarifications, slit eyes, small nose, open rectangular mouth showing teeth, protruding chin. The mask is made in wood covered with animal skin. Cameroon, Upper Cross River, West Grassland region. Height: 47 cm. The mask is mounted on a custom stand. Good condition despite slight abrasion due to age. Provenance: old French Provincial collection, acquired in situ early 20th century.

This footed bowl is from Gunnar Nylund's early years with Bing and Gröndahl. It was created between 1926 and 1928. It measures 4¼" (11cm) high and is 4½" (11.5cm) in diameter. The bowl is on four feet. The glaze is extraordinary and designed to resemble flames surrounding a cauldron. Mint condition. SHIPPING INCLUDED WITHIN US.
Japanese framed woodblock print by artist Hasui Kawase (1883-1957), depicting a lake with boats and rainfall. In the foreground is a romantic scene in which a man sits with his face in his hands, a red bouquet of flowers beside him, watching a woman holding a blue parasol who stands gazing back. Markings include Hasui's red chop and signature, publisher seals in left margin, titled in right margin.

Beautiful pair of canton rose phoenix birds with pink, blue, lavender, green and yellow feathers. The phoenix stands on one leg with the other leg atop a chrysanthemum bush. A vintage Japanese contemporary low Mizuya Tansu made from solid Keyaki (Zelkova) wood. Two sliding doors open to a spacious storage area. Three side by side drawers along the bottom with Hikute iron handles. Taiko drum nail heads decorate the sliding doors and horizontal side bars add structural strength as well as aesthetic beauty to the chest.
